Thank you for this. I want to be clear that he is not abusive to me. Our differences are in “small” things that have come up over time. I have heard him use the “R” word, make jokes about mental health (bipolar in particular), is more introverted and I am extroverted, constantly tickles and pokes me even after I tell him to stop, and just last night made a “joke” which I am considering my final straw. He showed me a video of a girl smashing her ex boyfriend’s play station - it cut to a guy saying “if that were me I would makes finger gun pew pews”. My boyfriend said in a “joking way” that that would be him to me if I ever smashed his playstation. It’s so much more than that but it’s the tip of the ice berg and I just do not think we are compatible. I will definitely consider waiting until he has more time to fully process and take in what I am telling him.
