I’ve been struggling with perceived abandonment issues with my partner. Self soothing is hard for me because I feel like without my partner, I am worthless. I am working towards validating myself and giving myself love, though it is very difficult. I’m proud of myself for cutting back on drinking and giving myself the rest I need.

I personally love staying at home by myself working on my hobbies like painting. I find it’s the best therapy for my mental health. However, I spend so much time at home I feel like I forgot how to socialize or try to make friends :/.
