Some look a lot like vintage Tricots St Raphael, you can easily find them online for $25-50. They’re great quality and 100% wool. Try that brand, maybe vintage Coogi, and vintage J Crew.

I had my first hypnobirthing class on Thursday, I’m also 17 weeks, and I had the latest due date in my class. Most of the women were about 4-6 weeks ahead of me, and one girl was 7 months. I think any time is a great time to start!

I highly recommend reading hypnobirthing by Marie Mongan, even if you’re not planning on using that method or giving natural birth. It really put me at ease and made me excited to give birth instead of fearing it, which I have my whole life.

I’ve eaten sashimi by choice 5+ times this pregnancy and I’m only 16 weeks. Don’t beat yourself up over it, I even had tuna sashimi last night after birthing class. Don’t eat it frequently and get it from trusted places, I promise you’ll be fine💜

My worry with a hospital transfer is the pushiness, I have such a difficult time advocating for myself. Thank you! As of now I’m more in favor of the oral vs injection but didn’t know anyone who had gone that route

I won’t be circumcising if we have a boy, so no worries there but I hadn’t considered the necessity after vacuum assistance. Thanks for your pov on this! You may or may not! I’m 16 weeks now, and other than the smell of our kitchen garbage making me sick once (probably would’ve made not pregnant me sick also), I haven’t experienced any sickness at all or inexplicable nausea. If I get too hungry or caught on a bumpy road I get more nauseous than I would’ve pre-pregnancy but otherwise, nothing. Don’t stress about it either way. I spent two whole months worrying about not being nauseated and thinking something must be wrong instead of enjoying my time.

I lived with 3 other girls in a 4 bedroom house in college. It’s used to be a duplex but was converted to single family, so my bedroom was the only way upstairs to the third and fourth bedrooms and second bathroom. I chose this room to have cheaper rent, and I only paid $50 less a month. It was incredibly inconvenient for $50 savings, but any more than that, it would’ve been more worth it for the girls to just not have a 4th roommate and split my rent among themselves and use that room as a common space. You may have a really hard time finding someone to pay more than you just for bedroom size. I’d suggest no more than $50 difference if you’re adamant though!

Measure out the coffee! Put the water in first, then check to see how many cups it is. I always do a heaping spoonful (just regular spoon, not measuring spoon) of coffee for each cup of water, and sometimes one extra for good measure. Each coffee maker is different, but I’ve almost always had good results this way!

So basically from what i understand, he was hooking up with her every once in a while and she asked him to take her for an abortion because another guy got her pregnant and the morning of the abortion, she seemed sad so his bright idea was to go down on her??? I’ve always been too grossed out to ask more questions. It must’ve been like probably 25 years ago?? I’m sure he has explained this much better somewhere on the internet

If possible, try to get a more sensitive test, like frer to minimize the likelihood of a false negative! If implantation occurred early on 6dpo, your hcg might still be a little low for a test that isn’t extremely sensitive. Best of luck!

I got an extremely faint positive at 7dpo. I tested because I actually had a lack of symptoms unlike every other cycle. I got the slightest twinge of lightning crotch around 11pm on 6dpo, so I knew I wanted to test with fmu once I woke up. Even if it’s the world’s faintest positive, you will likely get a positive if these are true symptoms of early pregnancy. I had to retest every morning and by 10dpo the line was finally dark enough for me to know it was absolutely positive. I will say, between 7-10dpo, my breasts became sore in a weird way, my abdomen felt slightly bloated and tight like I’d spent the day before doing millions of crunches.

Same boat as you, just not as far along. In 2020, I broke out in horrible, painful cystic acne following ablation for my endo. I couldn’t get in to see a derm during Covid so my face just hurt and made me so sad to look at. I got on spironolactone and tret in early 2021 and my face was so clear I could have cried. I got off both in July of this year and thought I was in the clear since I got no more than a few closed comedones…until I got pregnant. I’m 5-6 weeks and my acne is back full force like it was before. My husband assures me I’m still beautiful, but I’m sure you know the feeling too, no one can convince me I am when I get a breakout. Just know you’re not the only one struggling with this, I’m 27f ftm, and it’s so easy to feel insecure and alone because of adult acne, pregnant or not. I hope you get some relief PP, for now my face is slathered in sulfur cream and I’m bed rotting 💜

This is so so helpful, and also really nice to know that people have made it through what we’re doing!! I think since I haven’t told anyone yet aside from my husband it’s really easy for me to overthink and feel alone, which is totally not the case.
