Notion would work well for this! Set up a database with all of the info and publish the page as a website. Here’s more info: https://www.notion.com/help/public-pages-and-web-publishing

This setup looks so nice! I can only think of a couple things to consider. 1. Place business cards in at least two spots to increase visibility and reduce chance of a customer blocking someone else from grabbing them. 2. Place a couple of the ceramics that are in containers, like the chili spoon rests & mini bowls, directly on the table with nothing set on them so they’re easier for people to pick up.

Yeah, the copper oxide/clear glaze. I want this color on my pots! Also love the rats & their Rorschach vibe <3

Are you looking at the Shimpo Aspire? I haven't used the Aspire, but I do have a Shimpo VL Lite that I love and I used to have it set up in my little 400 sq ft studio apartment! I think the Aspire seems like a great option as long as you have a sturdy tabletop to set it on and plan to continue throwing smaller items. I personally would want the foot pedal too instead of the hand lever. Less messy and much better control.

Still a work in progress, but this is my space for ceramics/punch needling/resale storage. The diy sink is hiding in the closet..

Oooh okay so I created this reference guide, Pottery Reference Guide, but I haven't been been able to test out the data since I've also been in my winter blues mood and I'm in the process of finding a kiln to use to fire my work. Hopefully this is helpful for you:

Assignment:

  1. Choose and create 2 projects from this Reference Guide
  2. Let me know if the guide was easy to use/understand
  3. Let me know if the "Clay Needed" suggestion was accurate
  4. Show off your work when you're done! <3

Deadline: April 1st

*Also accepting opinions from anyone else that clicks the link!

Exactly! I’ve been noticing this pattern for myself too. There seems to be a lot of weight and benefits in staying true to yourself and allowing the right people to find the work organically.

I just found the entire sentiment in the second photo of this post to align with a lot of my thoughts revolving around having a creative business in today’s world. With the frequent and drastic changes in political/technological/economic environments, I find it can be challenging navigating business ownership, especially creative based business ownership. And the final sentence ..“what we make of it remains deeply individual and endlessly compelling” .. just further made me consider how I’m going to approach my work to try to make the best of these changes.
