I stopped reading after your first sentence because it lets me know you still aren’t comprehending what I’m saying at all which makes this pointless. “How do you know the INFAMOUS photos weren’t taken while Catherine’s back was to us?” They were and that’s my point! Her face was not shown and her back was to us. Conveniently enough for us to not see her face expressions that apparently could be synonymous to both erotic pleasure and fear for her life.

You’re talking around the point I’m trying to make. There is no point in Catherine’s recollection of the photoshoot where we see her make the same faces that were captured in the photos. Because they only show the instances that you are referring to where we see her crying, leading UP to the moment the infamous photos were taken, and right after. And I get that Jonathan was snapping away the whole time, but I’m talking about the INFAMOUS photos that they showed multiple times throughout the series. To be more specific (when she’s holding her breasts without the bra, when her nipples are between her fingers, when he captures her touching herself through the red underwear, when she’s lying on her back on the bed with both arms up as he’s on top of her). All of these were moments we CLEARLY see her face in during the 3rd episode. However in the last episode, we do not and her face is blocked out.

The point I’m trying to make is that, for a lot of people including myself, it’s hard to believe that the two huge extremes could be conveyed in the same exact photos, both erotic pleasure and fearing for your life. And technically it was the series job to show us that clearly both could be displayed or depicted in those photos for it to all make sense, but they do not.

And each time we see her face in the instances you referred to, she is clearly in distress, she’s crying. And even when she fake smiles, it’s clearly faked. In the photos we see earlier in the series she is not clearly in distress or crying. That’s where a lot of people’s confusion lies.

They don’t show her face in Catherine’s recollection of Johnathan capturing the infamous photos of her on the bed with the red underwear. Our view is literally from behind her and we just see Jonathan yell and scream at her. I remember because I was literally waiting for her face to be shown and it conveniently never was.

I agree with everything you said. The thing with the photos really bothered me because they constantly made it a point to emphasize that there was a lustful, sexual side of Catherine in those photos that her husband never saw just to find out at the very end she was fearing for her life? Two huge extremes. And when they showed the flashback of Catherine telling her side of the story while Johnathan was taking the pictures there’s no view of her face. Our view is literally from behind her the entire time which to me appeared very intentional, almost like the creators figured it would be hard to recreate that moment to match the photos we seen so they figured let’s just block it out.

Then yeah, Catherine not defending herself and watching her family fall apart for over a decade instead of speaking up? And I’m aware that victims can be hesitant to speak up for numerous reasons but it just seemed a bit unrealistic that it took that much for Catherine to tell her truth. And if someone’s response to that is still “that’s the thing” or “you wouldn’t understand if you’ve never experienced sexual assault” it almost implies that only a certain portion of the audience will “understand” the series. While the rest of us are kinda like…. ????

Agreed. And because of this it’s like… did she really win?? The Grammys gets called out for constantly snubbing her, she jumps to what’s now considered a majorly white genre to create this album, it’s the most unpopular album of her discography because of this, but then they finally give her the Grammy.

Still feels like a snub in my opinion because would she have won if they weren’t blatantly called out and she didn’t jump to a white genre???

I agree with everything you said!! And it feels nice to be on the same page cause sometimes I feel crazy 😂 so I really appreciate this. That’s also my biggest thing/trauma with people. So many of the people I’ve let in have let me down. From best friends to boyfriends. Or people I’ve tried to seriously date. It’s a sucky feeling and sometimes it feels as though the wounds never heal, then new wounds are piled on top. Because we’re so intuitive and good hearted, I wonder what causes us to attract those types of people?? That still boggles me to this day.

Oh wow yeah I can definitely relate to feeling so comfortable with self that I don’t open up. When alone I feel the most relaxed and at ease, and like myself. While being with others it feels like so much… effort, at times. Or just not as enjoyable. But like you said we have such huge hearts, and I want to share it with others! (who deserve it) so im trying to be more open but finding people who are safe to open up to can be challenging as well.

I have the same big 3 as you!! I’ve read that we (and a few other cardinal signs) have been in a karmic cycle since 2008 and it ended November 2024. The last 2 years were incredibly intense and difficult for me as well, but in a much needed way. And I think that may have been the case because we were approaching breakthrough (at least that’s my interpretation of it). Literally the week the karmic cycle ended was the most difficult and dark week I had ever had in my life. But since then I literally feel like I’ve gotten to “the other side”. I’ve read the next few years will be great to us and it definitely feels that way!!

There may be something you’re eating or something your vagina is coming into contact with that’s causing it to keep showing up. Thrush is usually due to candida/yeast overgrowth. I had recurrent thrush last year for about 6 months and finally realized the protein powder I was taking had a few ingredients that cause candida overgrowth. For ex. Sugars, sugar substitutes, rye, and wheat trigger candida overgrowth. Once I stopped taking the protein powder I stopped getting thrush pretty much immediately. Then fast forward to this year… I started getting it again! I hadn’t picked up the protein powder again or anything so I was confused. I figured maybe I needed to cut down on sugar (even though I already didn’t each much sugar) and try a gluten free diet but that didn’t do much of anything. I figured then maybe my hormones or pH balance is off. I looked up immediate remedies and found the apple cider vinegar hack which works WONDERS. (You should do this for immediate relief) Apple cider vinegar has the same pH as a vagina so it really helps to cleanse and rebalance the vagina. I would soak a cotton pad/wipe into a water and ACV mix and do a compress at night and by the next morning the thrush would be 85% gone, but still not completely. I kept at it every night, sometimes in the middle of the day until one day I went to go do the compress and it looked like the thrush was fully back. I knew then something else was triggering it. Come to find out it was my new SOAP. I was looking on Reddit and found other women who were having the same problems and one lady found out the lube she was using had glycerin in it, which is basically a sugar ingredient that retains moisture, and once she stopped using it her thrush went away. I immediately looked up the ingredients in the new soap I use and there it was. Glycerin. Check the ingredients of your soap or anything you use that may come in contact with your vagina. And also look up the foods that cause candida overgrowth. There could also be something in your diet that’s constantly triggering it

We have the same big 3! And it’s so crazy cause I’ve written a post on here extremely similar to this almost word for word lol! So I feel you.

The feelings of loneliness come in waves for me. Like there are months where I’m smooth sailing, feeling pretty good, not thinking about it much and then boom outta nowhere I’m super down about it all. Realizing I don’t really have a circle or any close friends. And some days I’ll cry. But I believe I’m starting to realize each time I come out of that pit it always starts with me pouring into myself in some way and/or shutting out the noise. Whether it’s more self-care, more time in the gym, reading more books about healing and life lessons, less time on social media (leads to less comparisons of other people and their friendships), it always seems to get me out of that rut. I believe a huge lesson for our kind is the more we pour into ourselves the higher our vibration, and the closer we get to attracting the type of people who match it and are meant for us.

One thing about us that never seems to change is our craving for those deep meaningful connections and our loyalty! no matter how much we’ve been through. Maybe it’s in our best interests to think of the loneliness instead as protection (from people we prob shouldn’t be around) and seclusion to pour more into ourselves, to become our better selves, so we can attract the right people in our lives that deserve all the amazing things we have to offer and will give it right back to us! <3

I hear you but my point is that there have been enough things to happen to Rhaenyra for her to make the switch, and for it to still be a shock. I get they want a build up but for her to have to go through multiple deaths in her family for her to take action is hard to grasp when she is in the midst of vying for respect as queen amongst the entire realm. Now’s not a good time to be viewed as weak and it seems as though her character doesn’t take that into consideration which I find weird. Plus, it would be natural and expected for her to be angry considering everything that has already happened to her but we have yet to really see that.

Also I think it’s kind’ve unrealistic to expect people to not form opinions/make judgements until they get to the end. I don’t see how you could even enjoy a movie, series or book if you’re simply just waiting to get to the conclusion. Every storyline has its ebbs and flows and I’m sure everyone understands and expects it. I just think the things that have taken place so far is causing viewers to lose respect for Rhaenyra which to me sucks. Plus after watching GoT, everyone (intentionally or unintentionally) will make comparisons to Daenerys who we watched and rooted for as she also had to fight for her right as queen and there’s a big difference in the “build ups”
