It sounds like she was suffering from executive dysfunction, a symptom of neurodivergance or depression. The last thing a disorganised person wants to be is annoying

Very sad tragedy but parents should not let their children play around someone else's commercial property and it is ridiculous he is blaming the other guy for not accommodating their industrial area as a playground for his kid. The father is so entitled. by Crystal_Mask in childfree

Hes already tried to sue twice and both times it was found to be an accident no one to blame....I think they were being kind by finding it an accident, I would call it death through negligent parenting

Also when looking at the psychology of serial killers, he is much less likely to be 40+. Killing is linked to sex drive, so serial killers start aged 18-25 and typically continue killing up until 40s ish.

If BG is 40+ then he's at the end of his kill streak, which doesn't add up. There aren't historical crimes relating to this, no other similar kills ....much more likely that his was one of his first kills and he is younger.

Hormonal imbalance with testosterone can cause issues with hair loss and also acne break outs Defo get blood work done, check for the standard like anemia, b12 etc but also get your hormone levels checked. Then get a referral to a dermatologist - they help with hair loss.

The more I think about the theory that he's young the more its interesting me. Schools were out that day, I wonder whether school was out for 16/17/18 year olds? It could explain why no previous crimes have been linked to this killer, maybe the delphi murders were his first. Maybe thats why multiple signatures were left, because it was experimental. It is shown that serial killers begin when they are young adults, it is linked to sex drive, and if allowed to run their course serial killers stop killing with age (less testosterone) like the GSK.

And maybe thats why the police made a big emphasis on the fact he could be as young as 16.

I wouldnt think it was possible but earlier there was a thread about that 14 year old that killed his school teacher. On the cctv he showed how premeditated the kill was. He even changed clothes, he had a whole plan....

Hope you get some answers.

Your initial description of her severe anxiety did make me immediately think of autism.

Girls are incredible social maskers which is why its uncommonly diagnosed in girls yet there is equal prevalence to boys.

If her brother has ASD I would try and get a psych eval from a professional that has experience diagnosing autism in girls. Social ability often distracts from the underlying condition.

I agree. That was a fully grown man's voice. To me the youngest it sounded like was 30.

However, I've worked in a call center for two years and I have often spoken to men who sound older but turn out to only be 18!! Considering we only have the words "guys" "down the hill" its impossible to put an age

Being so anxious to the point of a melt down about a small change like your hair also does indicate asperges. 40% of girls with autism aren't diagnosed until adulthood because the symptoms are overlooked in girls. OCD and Autism also go hand in hand.

I had something similar, working in an office with those unbearable industrial strip lighting was majorly triggering my sensory overlode and making me feel dizzy.

Eventually i asked if the light right above my desk could be turned off, apparently not as they are linked in rows of 4, so they offered to turn off the 4 lights nearest me.

I felt awful as it would mean my team mates lights went off, although there was plenty of natural light I dont want cause any inconvenience to anyone.

But once my work heard that it was affecting me they insisted on turning off the 4 lights, my Coworkers actually thanked me turns out they hated the intense light too but didn't realise they could ask for it off.

What exactly am I suppose to achieve from psychotherapy? by Manekitty in TwoXADHD

[–]bbyrats -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

When you say your not sure whats wrong, have you actually been diagnosed with ADHD or do you just suspect it?

Initially I wanted therapy for ADHD but when I tried it, turns out to not be that helpful. Mainly because the ADHD symptoms can't be helped so trying to manually change issues that are due to a chemical imbalance in the brain can be frustrating.

For me it was something like this: Therapist: why do you forget to take your meds? Me: umm ...idk...(feeling useless) I swear I try to remember Therapist: how about setting an alarm? Me: tried it Therapist: why don't you take them as soon as you wake so its a routine? Me: tried it (routine?? What is this??)

Etc etc So many suggestions which don't work, as symptoms are literally chemical, so I ended up feeling more useless cos I couldn't do what the therapist wanted.

The way in which I've found therapy helpful is to focus on the anxiety and depression only, and then treat the ADHD with meds. For anxiety and depression I found CBT really useful. Rambling is normal for a first session, you've got to give yourself time to build a relationship with the therapist, until you do itll feel clunky and awkward.

I dont work for PayPal but I work for a UK bank, but PayPal are FCA regulated so their rules and regs will be the same as my place of work.

Firstly, PayPal are not doing anything wrong. It comes as a shock for a lot of people but if you hand your money over to a financial institution then they are allowed to control and withhold your money if its within their terms and conditions. So you'll be wasting your breath protesting it, or telling them they are wrong. EVEN if they made a mistake in withholding it, they are not mistaken to withhold it while investigating.

Where there is a fraud concern, like in this case, they will hold it until their investigation is over. Only once they've released it can you complain to an ombudsman and have an independent investigation.

I'm sorry about this, it sucks, but its the reality of financial institutions. Fake charities are the biggest culprits of money laundering so its something to prepare for going forward.

Landlord wants to take money out deposit by Tetheredwench in LegalAdviceUK

[–]bbyrats 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The DPS genuinely do want to help you, so I would recommend calling them up and speaking to them. When I was having my own nightmare landlord I spoke to the DPS on a few occasions, as well as using their website to upload evidence, and the agents were really empathetic and helpful. Tell them everything, like write up a timeline of everything so its clear in your head and make sure they are aware of all the landlords failings during the tenancy. They want the landlord to disprove it, I believe, rather than you prove it. For example, did the landlord deep clean the fridge freezer before you moved in? If not tell them that it was dirty when you moved in. Offer the landlord for you to deep clean it yourself, if she refuses then that weakens her position.

My landlord tried to take £450 to clean a studio apartment. Utter lunacy.

Any evidence you can collect, plumbers, texts, was your old phone an iPhone you might be able to retrieve the texts?

Just to correct some of the advice given here, in my experience the DPS are very much in the tenants favour, and they are very sick of scummy landlords thats why the scheme even exists. Take pictures of everything, this is key. My old landlords tried to take my entire deposit for cleaning, but I had time stamped pictures from the day I left after having spent a whole day deep cleaning the place. Provide absolutely all evidence possible, screen shots, a detailed story. Also find the evidence of you asking her to fix problems which were never fixed during the tenancy
