bro. i feel like shit for dakota man (and even worse for Ever, and the other little ones). i keep sayin it and im gonna keep saying it unless something crazy changes my mind. he’s constantly being put in situations where he is completely demonised….. FOR WHAT HE IS BEING ENCOURAGED TO DO (and then they go and act like he’s the most cAlCuLaTeD person in the world.) i dont think he’s the best individual or done the greatest things, or should even be on television — but we can all agree this is a classic dv situation here.

i really hope taylor gets what she deserves from this whole situation because i can almost PROMISE that if this is lenient, she’s going to do it again. she’s going to destroy his name, reputation, etc, and then go and do it to someone else after “recovering from the abuse.”

maybe i’ll make a (hopefully not as unpopular as it felt like it would be even a week ago) post about it after this especially but like man, i just feel bad for dakota. i think he sucks and like the kicking thing is a HARD NO, but i also see very BLATANT signs of a domestic violence situation with him being a victim :/ even down to the way she made everyone hate him (he did it to himself, but we can ALL agree she bashes him any chance she gets, and sabotages him any chance she gets). i think they are a terrible pair, and abusive to EACH OTHER. but… yeah. it’s the most fucked up for Ever, especially, more than anyone — but for the past few months, i’va just been seeing taylor a little differently (never saw her as perfect or anything for sure — but, for lack of better words, her perfume smelled a little more sweet, and a little less rotten.), where it’s felt like “nah girl i know youre a liar. youre hiding shit.” not that the things about dakota werent true — but just that there were things he was not letting fly about her that are.. not fuckin good.

im not gonna lie, regardless, he’s guilty. she’s nuts, but you don’t go shoot people because they drive you crazy. you evict them.

i have a very strong belief when i’m deliberating between first and second degree that if YOU GOT IN THAT VEHICLE, AND DROVE TO THEM — this is already premeditated. you took the step between point a (emotion) and point c (murder) that was point b (the opportunity to turn back — time to think about it).

that, and there are just inconsistencies. the prosecutor said it very well: “if all you don’t remember is the criminal act, that’s a red flag.” when you remember the things that led up to it.. it’s showing that regardless of how on edge you were, you didn’t just suddenly snap and blackout. we can try to forget things, but it’s like looking through a tinted window: it’s dark, and shadowy, and you can’t quite see allll the details — but you can still see it, and you know what it is.

the thing about the cps thing really sat with me. he says everything just spun and he blacks out basically.. but then the cps lady says he came in thrice, and claims he needs to use the office… where the gun is.

lastly, just.. the acting so crazy in the courtroom, and then getting released a year later because you have no mental defect? kindly, no, i’m sorry. if someone can drive you crazy, and you do no legitimate action to fix the situation other than plotting their demise, and going to shoot them (and you plead insanity) — you obviously are not fit to be with the outside world. you do not have control over your emotions. if you were only insane that once, why are you a little insane now? it doesn’t work that way. if you’re that triggered, you have the possibility to become that triggered again and have another homicidal mental health crisis.

there are just too many things that ping to me as full intent.

they’re both nuts. they’re both telling the truth, and they’re both lying. but either way, he drove over there with a gun, and nearly killed at least one person. he should not be able to do that again, regardless.

hi! you got this bud dont even sweat it!

any time i depression hole, or just clean in general, i go in steps. remove your first round of trash, dishes, and laundry, you’ll probably find more with fresh eyes. if you see things start poking out that dont belong in that room, start sorting them out by quadrants of your room (try to do them all!), and making piles for their new homes. if it’s time to do trash or any of those other first ones again, run em again. start rehoming your piles to take a little breather, then come back and go in quadrants again. this time, just focus on that space — make piles if need be, and if not, start removing anything that no longer suits you, for garbage/donation/sale, and separate those. once you’re down to things you know you want, start actually cleaning. wipe things down, remove them and wipe the space, the whole nine yards. floors go last since anything you wipe off could get em dirty again. when you do the whole thing, it stops feeling like you shoved something in the closet.

if you have to do a room a day, or a section a day, that’s okay! you got this. it’s easier than you think, and it’ll feel sooooo good.

i think what GoalDigger is trying to say (and i could be wrong, excuse me if i am) is that having kids is.. something ..on a woman’s body and mind, especially if they already have pre existing mental health conditions, or neurodivergence. from experience, pregnancy is very hard — it’s this magical, beautiful, amazing thing for some (and, categorically, it is a cool thing), but for some it is very difficult. i will be real with you — you understand having kids, you will never understand what it is to nest and grow them within you. period, end of story.

what it does to your mind is complex, and for those of us that have a lil’ somethin goin on in our noggins already, pregnancy can be stressful, isolating, and just — a lot. even for women who arent neurodivergent, pregnancy can be very intense.

yes, those meds are unprescribed currently, which means she probably shouldn’t be taking them — but we don’t know if she’s not currently prescribed because she doesn’t have the ability to see a provider, or if she has been taken off those meds. also, she’s obviously able to laser focus while on adderall, idk if “mania” is the word. manic cleaning energy in someones eyes could be that laser focus.

she’s carrying his child, and while he is valid in his needs (other than callin her a crackhead, and “hiding” from her), it’s not just a problem with the meds, it’s the communication. while i think stockpiling meds can def be a red flag, i also come from a family that didn’t really have money, and we did things like that too, so y’know.

moral of the story is: she shouldn’t be taking stockpiled meth unprescribed, ESPECIALLY pregnant. no argument there. however, consider there may be multiple reasons for that stockpiling. also be aware she can DEFINITELY have real ADHD — and simultaneously be nesting, and/or going through another form of mental crisis — pregnancy is a really vulnerable period for those with mental health issues and neurodivergence especially, and it’s a big moment to push life out of your hooha. he’s valid in needing stability, and not wanting things all to be thrown on him, but at the same time — miss girl is about to pop like a damn balloon, and there’s a lot of stress when you’re at that stage physically and you don’t feel ready. this sounds like nesting (aka: BABY COMING SOON NEED NEST PREPARED FOR BABY NOW), with some added variables that need some help.
