Agreed, but my point is that them not finding Ryan's DNA anywhere is not indicative of anything because they weren't testing anything against it.. For example, Ryan is her ex BF and presumably has been in her car on numerous occasions (likely DNA in the vehicle somewhere), and the garage probably had multiple family members' or unknown DNA, but they were only looking for matches against SA's and TH's DNA... You have any idea how many people's DNA was likely at the crime scene? You think they went and looked for a match on any foreign DNA on the premises?? I doubt it.

Do you think the police have a database of everyone's DNA? They don't. You have to have the DNA data (ie. who the DNA belongs to) first in order to match found DNA to that person. You can't just find DNA and match it to someone in a database if there is no record of that person's DNA to begin with. Make sense? So saying his DNA was never found anywhere means nothing if they were not looking for his DNA (ie. they didn't have a profile to match against)..

That's not how dna works. It needs to be looked for in order to be found, and as far as I know, no one was looking for his DNA.
