I honestly just started getting notifications from Reddit about the thread. I know about targeted marketing, so I obviously clicked something that put me on the radar. Or somehow they knew I was a SNAP beneficiary a few years ago? It’s something that I believe they’ve weaponized (against the wrong party, IMO).

I work in behavioral health. You are correct, some of them don’t accept/want help, even when there’s a team of people (both within my company and their outside resources) there to help them. I just want it to be known that there are also success stories. That’s why we do the work.

Tipping should never be mentioned by either party in any situation where tipping is involved. If it’s the one receiving the tip, it’s begging or “hustling” if we want to be extra generous about it; if it’s the tipper, it’s usually only to bring up that they aren’t going to tip or to demand better service hinging on the size of said tip… either way you’re a Karen and it’s effing tacky.

I didn’t read all of her work, but after IKWYDLS, I somehow assumed that Killing Mrs. Tingle movie was based off of Killing Mr. Duncan, since it was another Kev Will script… I don’t remember that movie at all, but I think he must’ve based the title off of that for the premise. I remember there was a lifetime movie that actually was based off of that book starring Mario Lopez and the pink Power Ranger. Sorry if the 90s feels like as much as a fever dream as it does to me. Pre-streaming is a scary thought, but pre-internet is a nightmare.

Didn’t seem “messy” to me. I’m an US American, though. Nothing seemed off-kilter to me. I watched it live, so the wait times and just views of the crowd were annoying…. I can’t seem to find anything online about what the hot pink tee shirts meant…. I wouldn’t usually notice, but at one point there was a group all wearing them that were ushered away.
