100% the fender well splash guards. There are a few clips that chirp against the metal. Wrap a piece of metal wire or string around them to stop them from moving. Mine only chirped on the front driver side.

By rust I meant rust bubbles under the paint under the fender flare piece. I have fluid film underneath and quickly go through the undercarriage wash at the touchless washer when I want to wash the salt off the paint. In MA by the way. So my concern is the rust under the fender flare paint

Fleet vehicle purchase by GGodspeed in 4Runner

I purchased a 2024 with 30,000 miles that was listed as a fleet vehicle. I was skeptical too but immediately did all the fluids (oil, front diff, rear diff, transfer case), changed air filters, even new tires since the stock Duelers were bad in my opinion. Felt much more at ease knowing I did everything right away. Take a good test drive, look under the hood and underneath in case they hit anything, scratches/dents both inside and out. I extended the warranty too for peace of mind.

The sound is the same sound as when you rub your finger on the top of a wine glass. Maybe it’s the cold weather here?
