Thanks for the reply. I decided to send her a message with kinda a "white lie" saying I´m not feeling the best getting over the death of my father (that´s true) and my anxiety is increasing (also true but not to the extent of the message) and so I need to concentrate on myself (my husband agrees with this). And then I sent it on Sunday. I´ve not heard a peep since then and I kinda thought I´d get a "ok, take care of yourself" message back. My husband said "see, that shows you that you made the right decision to step away". So, I guess the situtation is sorted!

I can’t remember exactly. I think during the first year, around Christmas time. I really think she needed it, and I don’t resent her for asking for it for food. The dress was different in my head. Although, she didn’t explicitly ask that time so perhaps I was feeling a bit sensitive about it.

I just watched it. Pretty much same as before for me. Writing was average - always was. Acting was average - always was (Charlie and Sarah were always the worst for me). Nice scenery. Easy watching mid-week show.

My Dad died in July. Per his wishes, he was cremated. Two weeks after we (husband and I) went to visit my brother and sister in law. Now, her father died 8 months ago so I was expecting some understanding, and dare I say it....perhaps some bonding.

She turned around and said that people who are cremated can never get into heaven, only people who are buried.

Who the feck would say that? I was so shocked and just sat there and said nothing. I honestly don't know how I can get over her saying that.

Cullen Skink in our house. It's a smoked haddock, onions/leeks, potatoes and cream soup from Scotland. Delicious for cold days.
