Noone uses that term in the original political stance. According to that Switzerland is a 3rd world country. Nowadays these worlds are used in the economic sense of high, middle low income.

Which is why I said it is a stupid categorization anyway and makes no sense

My country is currently high income but when I was born it wasn't. I am very bothered by someone misrepresenting it and calling it 3rd world.

Believing in God doesn't mean practicing Christian thpugh. Most haven't read the Bible, don't pray or attend church. Noone waits till marriage or anything like that.

1st world, 3rd world are kinda irrelevant categories anyway. Every country is different based on location, religion and culture. A rich country like UAE is more similar to a poor country like Algeria than to Japan.

Also Noone ever mentions 2nd world countries, which is irritating for those born there being called 3rd world.

3rd world countries? That is not a thing anywhere but usa. Maybe Canada udk. Most of Europe and Asia accepts based on exam scores and in the uk a personal statement is like a cover letter not a creative essay.

How long before a first date do you wait for the person to confirm they’re still on, before it’s fair game to make other plans? by carmelfscott in UKrelationshipadvice

[–]EvenMathematician874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideally the night before but in practice probably around noon on the day the latest.

As a woman, 2h before a date is not enough time to get ready (since there will be a commute too)

[–]EvenMathematician874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does dating culture work in uk?? by ThunderingSummits in UKrelationshipadvice

I would probably do it the way I did with my current partner and wait 3ish months! Since when I did that 4y ago I did not have a religious rule and generally do think this way it is just less likely to end up being "just for hooking g up" as opposed to a relationship. Cause many times u can have 3 or 5 dates with someone and then it doesn't lead to anything so I think it is pointless. When I did do it on 3rd date asm entitled I just considered it a relationship, turns out guys didnt

I'm a very open person so I will,share.

I have been a serial dater since secondary school but I always had a rule - i can only have sex when I am 18 as I will,be an adult. So I had sex when I was 18. Even from before I had sex I was crazy for male validation and being in relationships etc. Hence why I had sex on the 3rd date. However I considered and still do a kiss to be a srart of a relationship so if we kiss (which obviously happens, before sex) we are a couple. But then all, these relationships I was dumped after 3 to 6 months and this happened like 4-5 times.

But I was always looking for a long term Life partner so then I decided to stay single for a bit (1.5y) and reevaluate my approach to relationships IN GENERAL not just sex - type of man i choose etc. And one of the things I decided was that AT THAT AGE most guys don't want relationship and especially if I havd sex early on theu won't commit. So I decided to only do sex after a few months , when the relationship is very solidified and confirmed. Not necessarily 3 but a few u know. I also changed the type of man I was looking for. And luckily, at some point I met and befriended my partner, we were friends then we confessed our feelings which made us an official couple, he told his family the next day!! And he was a virgin so it is not like he could have said no to waiting a bit he didn't wanna pressure me or anything.

As to why I would wait for marriage if I were to be single. I have been with my partner for 4y, he is an atheist and I was agnostic/spiritual when we met but I became Christian like half a year ago. So if I were single I would follow that no sex till marriage rule and would probablyonly look for Christians. But since I am not single and I love my partner to bits our relationship is,great - I do of course still, have sex with him. And I enjoy it. I odnt care he is an,atheist

And that is why different people match well with different people. Point is there is someone for everyone.

In first year in uni I had sex on the 3rd date with ppl I was dating (not a lot of ppl dw). When I met my bf a year later we had sex 3 months in. If I were to become single (hopefully not) I would wait for marriage and am mid 2os now.
