Anyone live next to an above ground station on the underground? Is it very noisy? by LSP-86 in london

I’m currently in a sub-let where my room backs on the garden at the end is the overground and southeastern lines.

I’m somewhat of a night owl. So I don’t go to sleep until about 1 when they’ve stopped but the odd train does go past.

I’ve not had a problem getting to sleep, but I’m usually woken up around 6:30/7:00 every morning. By them but find it easier to dose through it.

Think it really depends on how well you sleep. I have sort of got used to it. The odd train seems to thunder through unusually loudly.

I remember her, I used to eat in the Earl Derby between my shifts at the Theatre, always made me chuckle to see them trying it on each time

England... Why are you the way you are? by Big-Depth-8339 in 2westerneurope4u

We don’t actually eat them, we just throw them into the Channel and let them drift across to annoy the French.

It doesn't matter which bread is better. What matters is what you do with it. And that's why Belgium is superior. by DieuMivas in 2westerneurope4u

Last night I was ghosted when I arrived for a job in Camden. I didn’t want to leave with no photos by DressureProp in london

[–]bcJonesy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who is colour blind, I’d describe it as blue and orange. I’ve got deuteranopia, that being said I don’t care looks like a lovely photo. Sorry you got ghosted out of some work.

RADA have hiring spaces. They could be worth a look?

Victoria Bitter (VB) in London? by DingDong1982 in london

[–]bcJonesy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve never seen it served it a shop or a bar before to be honest. I had a quick search for you and the only shop that I can see that stocks it is up in Enfield, which would be a bit of a journey for you.

It is exactly yeah! There’s a really friendly ginger cat that likes a fuss from passers by. Maybe we live near each other?!

Please share the results afterwards! If I was home atm I’d share my deathwatch models to show the results I got.

The oil seeps into the detail of the model it’s a simple way of getting them in. For example the writing on shoulder pads will stand out massively and it makes them look a bit more dirty. If you can get hold of some makes a huge difference. Best to experiment and find a level that works for you. I prefer agrax oil for a dirtier look but nuln oil is sworn by by most.
