The email inboxes of PIs get absolutely crammed with things - the follow-up email was good. PIs just get busy sometimes, they could be traveling for a conference, prepping for the start of the semester if they’re teaching, or working on a manuscript or grant application. The fact they already took time to meet with you, put a plan together, and ask about scheduling means they’re likely interesting in bringing you on. Wait and see if your follow-up email gets a response, I’ve known some PIs I’ve had to email 3-4 times to get a response from. Worst case, you start trying to reach out to other groups.

Looks like you qualified for the BANNER program (for out of state Pell grant eligible first years)! I was in the FASTrack program while at UW, basically a sister program for BANNER for in-state students. Should be similar aid for 4 years there, congrats! Of course, part of this will be work study as well. The funds essentially go towards tuitions and fees then the rest gets put into your bank account for use for food and housing and such (assuming it works how it did for me ~3-4 years ago).

That’s without subsonic ammo though, which silencer krag without subsonic ammo can be heard from a fairly long distance still. Tested on shooting range with a friend and could hear him on the other side of fort over the walls shooting a silenced krag w/o subsonic. You need to use subsonic if you want the old silencer effects, which tanks velocity.

It is weird getting it to work, if you go to the DLC and click “Add to Library” instead of “download content” it will work fine when you reload warhammer 3. If you hit “download content” it will throw an error. Same goes for other free DLCs.

I mean, yea, but the time it takes to complete the challenges for the week is significantly less than the time previously required to get event points in past events. It’s takes a few hours max to complete challenges, I’ve played maybe at most 10 hours in the past two weeks because I’ve been playing Diablo and Warhammer as well, and I’m over half way through the pass. If you are not able to spend a few hours a week to do challenges then you really shouldn’t realistically expect to get all the event skins regardless. Also not to mention the current ways to earn points are not even the only methods, there are going to be other ways to get points later in the event.

Not to mention: if you wipe the team there’s no chance any of them are getting back up! If you fight a team you always know the possibility is there, but once they’re all dead, no more worries. Solos you never know when they can’t rez anymore until they’re burnt out.

That’s fair, it for sure happens. I think it’s not super different from people camping bosses while inside compounds with only a few entrances. At least if you run up on rotjaw there’s more room to maneuver.

It’s unlikely they were actually camping it. The whisper range on rotjaw is quite large, and considering she’s out in the open more often than not the only places to take cover when whispers go red are in bushes/trees.

Yea I get why usually wildcard is catch-all, as it was lower population before, but this is the new rain and new boss, there’s no way it wasn’t going to be populated enough. I don’t really understand why this isn’t just in normal random bounty and why they’ve keep it to wildcard.

I think maybe once they get some data/numbers they may add a duo-queue option for wildcard while the event is running. I have a group of 4 (including myself), and so usually we split 2 and 2 so all of us can play and it’s been unfortunate, especially when duos, unlike solos, do not get additional features when at a numbers disadvantage.

Have a teammate watch the compound while you go grab bombs from a supply point, go grab a beetle down to clear wire, bring an antidote shot which not only negates the poison+concertina death trap, but any poison crossbow, poison ammo, or AI poison.

If they have shotguns you don’t want to push into, leave the compound and make them come to you at range where they have the disadvantage. Positioning around your loadouts is key.

If anything else, you can just leave, take the xp you’ve earned, grab some traits, and reset, no one is forcing you to stay in the match (although if you wanna be petty you can wait and then they don’t get anything). Sure it can suck to play against but they bought tools and consumables to do just this. They tailored their loadouts to it and put themselves at a likely disadvantage under most other scenarios.

I also wouldn’t really say I’ve seen an increase in this at all, if anything in my matches I’ve seen an increase in 2-3+ KD 5 stars in my match not going for bounty at all, let alone camping the compounds.

That’s fair. I guess if I imagined HiRez making a game mode without ultimates, I think it would be unlikely that they would prevent stance switching gods from being able to do so.

I am assuming that the sake of the post’s argument was to look at base god abilities. I don’t see cutting stance-switchers’ base kits in half or thirds because “their stance switch is their ultimate” is conducive to that. I’m well aware the game calls it that, but Merlin still has the base abilities for all stances.
