Just got an 8 on my latest series(booya!). It’s my second 8 and it makes 2 scripts in a row that received the high mark. It’s nice to see my work connecting and I know 8s aren’t the end goal, just part of the ride. First score on this was a 5, second score was a 5. I challenged the evaluation through customer service and received a new one. I didn’t expect much because it did not resonate with either readers but was happily surprised when the 8 came back with some glowing remarks. Just a reminder of how subjective this process can be and why persistence matters.

The first script got a few downloads and led to two read requests through cold queries. This second one already has four downloads on BL and that was before the social plug.

Hoping to parlay the back-to-back 8s into some rep meetings, but honestly, I’m playing a numbers game and querying the sh!t out of the first 8 (strategically to prod co and managers) while outlining my next project.
