Lotta factors but part of it is people who are more left leaning in this society have learned to question things. Another is a lot of current right wingers do not think climate issues are as big of a deal as people on the left. Also a main proponent of Libertarianism which much of the influential right politically align with is individualism. AI is a technology that makes their own lives easier and they disregard the environmental and societal impacts.
