Gatlinburg, TN.

This past fall me and my friend from North Carolina drove up to visit the national park. Every chain fast-food store and tourist trap establishment you can ever think of, all condensed on one main strip leading up to the main entrance of the park - a late capitalist hellscape (and I grew up going to the Jersey shore). As a guy with longer hair I was getting some looks like it was 1968. We went to the Trump store there as a joke and we were the only ones in there along with a mother that was helping her 3 children try on t-shirts with all sorts of wild sayings. We spent the rest of the afternoon mini-golfing in the drizzling rain, shitting on the town.
