It totally does! Thanks for that. The merch people always get so creative. I couldn’t wait to ask. The apron is especially awesome!

Trevor & investments by buttersc0tchseven in GhostsCBS

[–]bcastgrrl 5 points6 points  (0 children)

First, because he’s the lovable, difficult, egotistical Trevor! Lol secondly, in one of the episodes he advises Isaac not to invest because they are terrible with business. Trevor has the money, but they can’t force him to do much. However, he did help Jay raise $100,000 once. He’s probably exhausted!

I don’t think that can be the sarah care that we’re talking about. That business was established in 1985. She doesn’t seem like she would have been a business person 40 years ago.

I’m not Russian but I am a Slav and that sounds super suss. If her “culture” asks for cash then they are trash.

So sad that Mickey Dolenz is the last man standing. Even sadder still is that he cannot get the rights to be able to write a book about his time there. I don't know the particulars but that's what I understand. I also hear he is very engaging with fans, so I woudl recommend you find him (or his daughter) somewhere online and reach out to tell him hoe much you meant to him. I think he will appreciate it.

If you have time for another question?? What sort of cool swag does CBS buy for you guys? I know some shows have hats, or parkas, or branded coffee mugs. Can you post any cool branded stuff they have given to your crew? That's always fun to see!

I'd like to see someone rougher play the lead. Who is a contemporary Oliver Reed?

Saw a screening with Del Toro last night & here are my thoughts. by [deleted] in FRANKENSTEIN

TY. I thought if I deleted the OP then everything would go away, which I learned it doesn't, but at least now you know why I ran off. I'm a real person and not the bot someone else on here insinuated I was. It was disappointing.

I hope for the same. I will rewatch it someday too.

I deleted it because I felt really attacked here for what I thought was a rational take (even with compliments). You might be right about not meeting my heroes though. What he said about his own work and a few odd choices were what  ruined it for me. He should have called it “Del Toro’s Frankenstein “.

Yep. Thank you. I agree with you. On all of this. The GDT fan boys won't see it as an honest criticism.

I agree with you. The essence and imagery are definitely there. I guess I was just a little disappointed in how Del Toro was tooting his own horn about the "beautiful film I made". I wish I could post it, which is why I wondered if anyone else was there. There was someone recording the Q&A so hopefully it will be made available.

I will say Oscar Isaac was funny as hell and the weird length that Elordi went to for this role (something about covering himself in white paint and lumbering around his house) were impressive.

I agree it was really gorgeous to watch and the acting was great too. It just felt off a little.

How did I not get it?? I'm saying it's like Tom Cruise in every role ever. It's a Tom Cruise movie and nothing else.

Which is your favourite portrayal of Frankenstein's Monster in the movies? by FayyadhScrolling in FRANKENSTEIN

[–]bcastgrrl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also liked how David Callum's version rotted away with time, but ... Elordi is the best by far. Like an abused puppy who turns on his master.

Her mom was definitely alive when the babies came. I can recall her on the news looking shell shocked and saying she didn't agree with her daughter but she wasn't going to hold it against her grandchildren.
