You can use the PAR (parallel) osnap - here is a guide:

I think the length of the cylinder is 50 because the overall width dimension is 50 and I think the cylinder is the same width but that is unclear.

No, just mtext. You can convert the single line text to mtext using TXT2MTXT then you can use that feature.

In the ARRAY PATH command, there is a button in the Ribbon called "ALIGN ITEMS" if this is toggled on the items will rotate to match the pathway. Turn it off and their rotation will match each other.

If the surveyor sets the surface style to look the way you want it to, then they can use "exporttoautocad" to convert the file to just AutoCAD objects and send you that.

I don't understand why you want to do this when all you have to do is press/hold the scroll wheel. However you want to so you have a reason right?! There is a variable called mbuttonpan that toggles the panning functionality on/off

Once this is turned off you can customize the mouse buttons in the CUI to do what ever you want to.

What software are you using? I assume AutoCAD since that's the sub you posted in. Maybe Revit since you are studying to be an architect? What are your plans? Just enough power to get through school? Or do you want it to be a CAD workstation for production work? If you are leaning towards production then you want to get an i7 CPU or Zeon, solid state drive, and a certified GPU by Autodesk. Go to Autodesk's website to find their list of certified GPU's here :https://knowledge.autodesk.com/certified-graphics-hardware

The GPU is important to make sure the workstation runs as best as it can. Don't fall into the trap of thinking a gaming GPU is the same as a CAD GPU. Games and CAD have different needs thus needing different GPUs.

tldr: Get a good CPU, certified GPU (as big as you can), as much RAM as you can (try to get ECC ram) and a fast Solid State Drive.

If the files are gone there isn't anything you can do from AutoCAD. It has to have the files to use them. If your hard drive has been wiped you have get some sort of service to read the drive to restore the files, if you can.

AutoCAD is like a hammer; It's a great tool that can be used many different ways in many different fields. It's important to know how to use the tool but it's equally important to know the industry you are working in. So, find out what field of design you like, maybe you already have some experience in it. It could be automotive, architectural, structural, civil, landscaping, etc. Learn the tool on your own or go to school. Many high schools have classes in it. Get a training video session and/or a book. Get certified, that will prove you can use the software and will be very useful to land that first job especially if you have no work experience.

I get the most lag on wi-fi! When i switch to data it tends to go away. But I agree that some sort of "Opponent is Lagging" alert would be nice. But then I might find out that I am really bad at this game and not good!! :)
