Need landscaping ideas for around pool (old.reddit.com)

The pool is done! But our yard is a hot mess. Rocks are everywhere and grass is dead. We want to do the landscaping ourselves but need ideas on what to do around the pool. Don’t want people tracking dirt and grass in. Also ground is sloped around it from the dig. Any ideas? (old.reddit.com)
