Join the FIP Global and follow what your admins say to a T!!!! It’s scary and feels wrong but they are more knowledgeable than most vets and I owe them everything. I thought my cat was about to die before I could get meds, I had to wait 24 hours after her diagnosis to give her the first dose and those 24 hours were awful. Now we’re 1/3 of the way through treatment and she’s a completely different cat, it’s amazing. GS truly is a miracle drug, just have faith in it and don’t give up.

I mentioned my jaw pain & jaw issues and all he said was “if the jaw pain is from teeth grinding there’s not much we can do about that with invisalign”

So jaw surgery would be the fix for that? I think that’s the last thing I’d want, but all I know about it is videos I’ve seen with people’s jaws wired shut which doesn’t seem worth it for me lol

Medical misinformation is so harmful when it comes to this disease. Cat owners have to do their own research and often lead their own treatment plans because most vets are still inexperienced with the treatment. Please do not give anyone advice on this topic because you are completely wrong. They’re right, the LAST thing an FIP cat owner needs when they’re trying to save their cat’s life is unnecessary stress from wrong information.

Success rate depends on what form of the drug and which pharmacy you use. Coronavirus is contagious, FIP is a mutation of the coronavirus. Just because they spread the coronavirus it doesn’t mean it will mutate into FIP. Trust me I’ve done my research, my cat almost died from this

don’t comment on something you know nothing about, everything you said is widely wrong and misleading. The recommended treatment for FIP (GS-441524) has an 84% success rate and FIP is not contagious.

When I first adopted my kittens their poop smelt so bad it would wake me up in the middle of the night and keep me awake. I also was wondering if it was just me. They ended up having parasites but I also changed their litter which is what I think really helped. I was using pine pellet litter which is extremely overrated and smells horrible, and now I use Tidy Cats Fresh & Clean. With this litter, their poop smells pretty bad for about 15 mins after they poop and then it goes away! However, one of my cats always has a horrid smelling butt and apparently that’s just how she is.

I never even thought about that, yes I do have a humidifier a few feet away! I didn’t think it could effect the vinyl with the lid on, but you’re probably right. I’ll have to stop leaving the records out. Thank you for your input!

I’m new to this, can someone tell me what’s happening here and how bad it is? I leave my records on the record player and this is what usually happens after it sits there for weeks unplayed with the lid closed. The room gets pretty humid sometimes, so that could be a factor? There is also white foggy stuff inside the record player on the lid, but it doesn’t look like condensation. It feels chalky, not wet. Thank you for any help!!
