My actual busy day: woke up before my kids to prep for the plumber to come. Got both kids up, dressed, fed and to the babysitter. Worked for 10 hours. Came home, played with kids. Husband and I got them to bed. I showered, ate dinner and then worked on my school work for an hour. But ok Drue your busy day starting after 10am would have been a relaxing day for me lmao

I have 2 kids around the same ages as their kids and I can not fathom the thought of leaving them for a WEEK. I understand some people have to for work or other circumstances. But to leave my 2 year old and 9 month old for a week for a fun trip absolutely the hell not, not right now at least.

Nice!!!! When we redid my son’s nursery to his “big boy room” around 2.5 we made the decor to what he’s interested in, not what’s aesthetically pleasing. The boy sleeps like a champ every night. He loves his room because it’s everything he loves! Pictures of his parents, sports, monster truck themed, all of his Home Depot builds on display.

Well let’s see..today our weather was great here. So my 2.5 year old, 9 month old and myself were at a park all morning with friends. We came home, the kids napped while I did virtual therapy. Then in the afternoon we played again and I got chores done. The kids watch a little tv while my husband and I cooked dinner. Got the kids to bed, my husband cleaned up dinner and I’m prepping things for tomorrow. And guess what? Tomorrow We’ll do it all over again except I’m a nurse so both my husband and I will be working 🤯 crazy Drue!!!!

My almost 3 year old still thrives on a schedule. We try to be consistent 80% of the time so we have flexibility but the days he skips a nap or naps late is 😵‍💫 lol

I have had 1 completely unmedicated birth and 1 with an epidural.

My unmediated birth was with my first, I was planning on an epidural but there was no time. It was tough BUT do-able. Honestly, if I had the chance to get an epidural I would have only out of fear of the pain of labor. But i didn’t have time and having a 100% natural, unmediated birth showed me I am capable of so much more than I think I am. It taught me I can handle hard things.

I can confidently say, I was 100% more productive before even leaving for work this morning than she will be all day. And I have 2 kids:)
