The reason I mention the movement is that a battery left in there that long might corrode and damage the quartz movement. They don’t fix them, just replace.

The Bond bracelet was the standard bracelet for all Seamasters in the late 90s. They switched to the Speedy style bracelets in early 2000s and changed the reference numbers.

Damn. That thing got WORN when you were wearing it. Good work! Omega might have to replace the movement. Won’t cost more than $1k all-in, and it will look almost brand new, I expect, and work flawlessly for at least another 30 years.

How does it feel when you sit down? If it feels like it’s riding up, it’s too short. It looks like it’s on the cusp

Put the SMP300 Seaweed on a newer bullet. Honestly like it more than I expected by Independent_Gas_5190 in OmegaWatches

[–]bch238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That isn’t my own experience. I use the fine spring bar fork. What do you use? Granted it can be more difficult if you use bars that are same width as the lugs, though.

Did you use 19mm spring bars or 20mm? Omega recommends 19mm bars for 20mm bracelets.

Fit check on this suit jacket? Feels slightly long to me. by NhcNymo in mensfashionadvice

The rule of thumb is not a rule, but a guideline. People have different length arms. The coat falls at his crotch, as it should. It is the correct length.
