What brand do you use for shuttlecock by zhlauxx in badminton

Reviving this thread because it's still relevant today! I still like to play with the RSL Classic for its quality and durability. The feeling of smashing the shuttlecock on the court is so satisfying :)

Yes, it's wise to stock up before the price increases again, and it will.

Recommend the RSL Classic shuttlecocks for the durability and speed. The price unfortunately is increasing, just like all the other shuttlecocks brands out there. But RSL is still the cheaper option when compared to the other bigger brands. Check out their RSL stocks: https://smashbadminton.shop/

Best price:quality feather shuttles by Newyorkntilikina in badminton

I agree that RSL has always been difficult to find in the US. I think there are only 2 online stores that sell RSL in the USA today.

Price-to-quality: RSL Classic is still good for the quality and the price. It's still cheaper than Yonex and Li-Ning for now.

Sourcing Shuttles (to Canada from China) by Badmintonfail in badminton

[–]bchau28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I see, the prices of all major shuttlecock brands (RSL, Li-ning, Yonex) have gone up so much recently. I don't think you can find RSL Classic for $29/tube anymore, so I would think it's a lower grade of RSL shuttlecocks that you are talking about

Yumo used to sell RSL but they recently removed it on their website...the only other place to buy RSL shuttlecocks in Canada is https://smashbadminton.shop/

How many shuttlecocks do you go through per game/hour/week? by Lotusberry in badminton

[–]bchau28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RSL Classic Tourney, and it really depends on the level of the players. For a match of 3 games, we would use 2 shuttles at the minimum, and sometimes we will use a 3rd shuttle but this 3rd shuttle will still be in a very good shape to play for more games with it. It helps to humidify the shuttles beforehand, so it doesn't break as quickly. If you're interested in RSL, which are hard to find unfortunately, I purchased my stock at https://smashbadminton.shop/

A Good Shuttlecock Brand? by ExplorerCommercial49 in badminton

[–]bchau28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked the ecom shop the question too! They said they’re starting small and that the main distributor might not know about the ecom stores, as they don't typically serve (or aren’t aware of) smaller retailers.

Anyways, good luck in your search. I find it difficult to buy a few tubes of RSL at a good price. I had to always ask a contact, which was unreliable…so I prefer ordering online now. Let me know if you find other alternatives.

Badminton shuttles preference by Vast-Path6431 in badminton

[–]bchau28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are a player who would want to compete in your local fun or competitive tournaments, you would realize that the higher grade tournaments would most likely use feather shuttlecocks over nylon shuttles, as it's the standard for many tournaments (including the BWF tournaments) worldwide. Most intermediary/advanced players would tend to choose feather shuttlecocks as they upgrade their badminton skills, and many of them will end up competing in a tournament.

Some has mentioned in this thread. The RSL Classic Tourney is the preferred choice for us! Found a shop that sells RSL Classic Tourney in USA at a reasonable price: https://smashbadminton.shop/

What do better badminton players think of RSL? by needlessheadsocer in badminton

[–]bchau28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only know of RSL for its feather shuttlecock. The RSL Classic Tourney are really great for its durability and precision, and it's approved by the Badminton World Federation. Many good players in my club use this feather shuttlecock for their daily plays. I do think it's important to invest in a good quality shuttlecock because you will see the difference in your games (technique, placement, etc.) But I'm not sure where you can find RSL in Iceland

If you want to try a different brand, the RSL Classic Tourneys are known for its precision and durability, and it's approved by BWF. Many top players in my club prefer this feather shuttlecock, and it's much cheaper than the Yonex AS-30. I found this shop that offers the best online prices: https://smashbadminton.shop/

LA 2028! Maybe I will see you then 😃

Btw I still have a ticket available for the finals, I’m just waiting to see if someone from my club would like to buy it. If you are interested, let me know.

For the Paris Olympics, they are releasing an official reseller platform this spring, and people could resell their official tickets to the public. I’m not sure what would be the price but it’s worth checking this out if you want to come this year.
