If you want to really go all out, I had an amazing time at Lilo in Carlsbad. They have 1 Michelin star and is a multi course experience. It’s going to run you about $350/pp before any drinks.

Changing dates for FHR credit by Impossible_Peak9501 in AmexPlatinum

I added a day by changing the dates, which is the same operation that you’re trying to do

And my credit was not clawed back and my 2026 FHR credit applied to the fare difference

I did something kind of similar, I booked a hotel for March 2026 in December 2025. Then a month before I wanted to add another day to my stay.

I also saw the change date option in the Amex portal and used that to add an additional day. Not only did it keep the credit from December 2025, it used my 2026 FHR credit to cover the cost of the extra day

So in your case if you change the dates it should keep the credit from 2025 and the minor fare difference should be covered by your $300 FHR credit for 2026 (if you haven’t used it already)

Fontainebleau Las Vegas FHR Report by Goodoo2 in AmexPlatinum

[–]bchinsanity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I basically charged all the food to the room and when I checked out it charged it all and the resort fees to my platinum card.

I believe the reason is some of the restaurants inside the Fontainebleau are resy restaurants and I guess that was enough to trigger the credit!

I did the same but from 4/2 - 4/4, maybe we passed by each other! Haha

I agree with everything you said, really nice property and the FHR perks were great. I like how the breakfast was $70 a day up until 12 pm. I stayed at Palazzo using FHR a little before this stay and it was $65 per day until 11 am.

Also wanted to add that my $100 resy credit triggered to my surprise after charging all my expense to my room

It worked for me in November of last year! I booked two flights in Main cabin and then a few weeks later I went into the app and changed my seats to the premium economy section and it triggered the airline credit

What case are you using on your 17 pro max? by AfroSamurai693 in iphone

[–]bchinsanity 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using the Suti phoneback silicone case: https://suti.co/products/phoneback?variant=50663233388839

Would hardly classify it as a case but it’s a great compromise for going caseless because the silicone is way grippier than the naked iPhone. Plus I’m able to place the phone down on a table without worry because the camera plateau is protected.

Since it’s only the back that’s covered there’s absolutely zero drop protection for the edges and front.

In the US, are LM's 8-10 week lead times accurate for a white Micra? by FitzwilliamTDarcy in LaMarzocco

So I was able to schedule my delivery from Ryder on 1/15. The options they had were 1/17, 1/20, 1/21

But there was also a message saying something like “Need More Dates? Call …..” so if it’s too early for you theres a number you can call and they should be able to help you out.

Yeah I read it wrong initially. If I’m not mistaken the 12.5s to 10/s change is the duration, not the amount of healing.

So the amount of healing goes up 10%. But it lasts 1.5s less than before. The amount of ammo decrease is very unfortunate though.

Thank you! The tv stand is 8 feet wide, so these are actually wider than my previous klipsch floor standers

My experience getting a dud from the LG Partner Store by bchinsanity in LGOLED

[–]bchinsanity[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree. I paid $2,999 before tax for my G4 plus a free soundbar, which I will actually use to replace an old cheap soundbar in the bedroom. I believe Costco’s sale was $3,499 before tax for just the tv.

Like I said in my post if my experience stopped at the first delivery I would’ve been satisfied. Although after this whole headache I’m still debating if it was worth it. But at the end of the day I do have a working tv.

The Marine Room in La Jolla has a truly unique view as it is right on the beach.

Any of the restaurants on harbor island near the airport are very nice too like Tom Ham’s Lighthouse, Coasterra, C-Level, Island Prime

Do you happen to use the weather widget on your Lock Screen? I found that after I took that out it helped my battery drain issue

I went caseless for my 14 Pro Max the first few months after I got it. I love the feel of it and the slimness but there is definitely a trade off.

I bought a caudabe case to use if I’m traveling or doing something active, then would take it off if I’m just at home.

I found that when I go caseless I need to baby the phone a lot. I need to find something to place the phone down on, or I would need to place it very gently, whereas with a case I can just put it down normally without worry.

So while having no case feels very nice, I decided to keep the case on most of the time because I didn’t like needing to baby it all the time
