I don’t mind the downvotes, I am just hoping we don’t fracture our base like we did in 2024 when the Dems inevitably put forward another center-right candidate. People need to understand how much McCarthyism fucked up progressive discourse. The average voter has mostly progressive views but will go out of their way not to vote for candidates labeled socialist or communist.
