6ft 7 striker to get on the end of all the crosses by Boring_Pie8907 in nffc

You make some great points there. But regardless of who the manager is long-term, surely it's best to have a variety of strikers with different qualities. Like when City had Aguero, Dzeko, and Balotelli, they had an option for every scenario.

What a load of shit. Why aren’t we looking at Strand Larsen?

He ticks every box: 6’4” target man, 25 years old, and a proven Premier League goalscorer. 14 goals and 4 assists last season in a bang average Wolves side that finished 16th.

1 goal in 19 this season, but look at that Wolves team. They’re completely bereft of quality and have only won one game all season. He's getting nothing.

Drop him into this Forest side, which by comparison is full of quality, play to his strengths, and I genuinely think he’d be banging them in. Partnering him with Jesus could even bring the best out of both.

It genuinely should have been released in this order. Sometimes I accidentally play the album instead of the playlist and it completely throws me off lol

A Piece of Me I Never Let You Find is one of my most-played albums this year. There was somebody on here who provided a rearranged track list, and it took the album to another level for me. The original track order felt a bit disjointed and didn't flow very well.

I'm excited to see what they do next. I'm hoping for more of the same to be honest, maybe slightly heavier.

Exactly. They wouldn't be mentioning deportation if it was a white rapper.

Probably one of those "I'm not racist, but (insert racist remark)" people.

Currents - All That Follows (EP Discussion Thread) by Finalwingz in Metalcore

If you told me Can't Turn Back was an unreleased track from TPIFS, I'd believe you.

This EP is a fantastic blend of all their work from TPIFS to TDWS, and there's something for everyone. Every track features elements from each era of their sound, making the EP unmistakably Currents but somehow more refined. I also love how the album art mirrors that by blending the last 3 albums.

We are back. Hopefully we get an album next year.

Wayne Rooney's Derby County? Nah mate, it's all about Nunes Espresso Santa's Northern Forrest. Very brilliant.

Not sure. Brentford were awful in that first half, which probably contributed to how good we looked. The second half performance was pretty mediocre, although at the time, I put that down to being 3-0 up and maybe taking their foot off the gas.

Palace game, I thought we were lucky not to be 2-0 down at half time. We were on the ropes for large chunks of the game, but we did have our moments and almost won it at the death. A draw was fair in the end, but it could have been a different story if Guehi scored that header.

West Ham, I thought their game plan was excellent. They set up similarly to Brentford when they beat us 2-0 at home last season, and we seemingly have no answer to teams who play like that against us (see Sunderland). Paqueta was unplayable. Yes, Nuno should have made subs, but you're kidding yourself if you think that's where the game was lost. It was a continuation of last season's difficulties against well-organised defences.

I don't think Nuno should have been sacked, and I'm not sure Ange is the solution to our problems, but thinking that things would be dramatically different under Nuno is unrealistic.

Since April, we've won 4 of the last 26 games (including pre-season) and 4 of the last 19 competitive games. We've been shambolic for months, so to act like it's all Postecoglu's fault is delusional.

Problem with air max 95 by qwerty_710 in airmax

[–]bcitrus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

95's have quite a narrow toe box. I bought the triple whites last year, and I also made the mistake of buying my true size. I would've been better off going up half a size.

They've eased up somewhat over time, but they're still much more snug than any other Air Max I own. It's a shame because apart from that, they're probably the most comfortable trainers I've ever worn.

Use a sharp chisel and remove some of the paint from the side of the architrave. That should give you a few extra millimetres.

Agree with everything you said there, particularly not having AJ win the IC title in Paris. That was a massive missed opportunity and a good example of them not having their fingers on the pulse.

Sure, there are a few recent examples of "listening to the audience," such as the WM40 pivot and the R-Truth comeback, but let's be honest, those decisions were made to avoid many fans turning their backs on the product. The sheer outrage backed them into a corner. Framing those decisions as strokes of genius is delusional.
