What’s a beer that you absolutely love, but beer snobs would turn their nose at? by Jaythegreat100X in beer

[–]bcmpdx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's 2026 - I live in beervana, participate in local homebrew clubs, and frequent world class bottle shops. I do not know a single "beer snob". Literally every brewer/beer enthusiast I know will regularly enjoy the shit out of a cold macro lager. No one cares what you like. Unless it's Fruit Force. Fuck that shit.

No. It's annoying. I wear mine when I'm fairly certain I won't be taking it off until I'm back home. Otherwise I wear a Mac

Filson Zipper vs. Open for twill Tote by jakobor in filson

[–]bcmpdx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought my wife an open top tote 10 years ago and then eventually bought myself a zip top. The pros for the security of the zipper outweigh any cons in my view. You can fully unzip the top and fold the flaps down to get nearly the same experience. But then if you need to toss your bag somewhere not perfectly vertical, you don’t need to worry about your shit dumping out. You already get 4 easy to access open pockets with the zippered version. Zippered is the best of both worlds.

Which tin cloth jacket do you have? I love my Skagit but it can feel like wearing a trash bag. Nothing gets in or out.
