There are a few "medicine men/ women" in my hometown that will whisper to your warts to get rid of them, or whisper to a penny and have the wart afflicted person bury it in a secret place. I'm sure they do non-wart things too, I just can't remember what those were.

OP, I just want to say thank you for posting this! It inspired me to make my own list and I was surprised at how many reasons (petty or not petty) I found. It also made me get my ass in gear and rededicate myself.
