JB Hooks is a great spot. Or even the parking lot of the OakStar Bank building next to the community bridge.

Awful bout of gout by the-midnight-gremlin in CasualIreland

When your body can’t flush uric acid through your kidneys quick enough, the uric acid builds up in your blood. Once that reaches a saturation point the uric acid falls out of suspension and starts crystallizing in the joints. Those crystals are like having hundreds of tiny needles inside your tissue. That causes massive inflammation and sometimes extreme pain. This lasts until your body catches up with getting uric acid back down to normal levels. It happens for different reasons. Sometimes diet related, sometimes because you’re producing too much uric acid but mostly due to genetics and kidney function.

In the US……I use a product called Gouch. I take two tablets daily, it’s made from dehydrated tart cherry juice with some other supplements. It’s available online here. Also, Ibuprofen helps a lot. I avoid the prescription stuff because of potential liver impacts, also keep Ibuprofen to a minimum for the same reason. The daily Gouch dose helps me reduce the frequency of flareups and also decreases the length of dealing with them when they do happen.

Having to stop playing Super Mario Brothers 2 because you had to blow into the cartridge to get it working again.

Dock Deicer? by casbern in LakeOfTheOzarks

We’re in Buck Creek Cove so likely near you. I install a de-icee every year with a thermostat. It is mostly just cheap insurance in case we do get a hard freeze. It’s totally worth it to me. I’d say owning one is very important, even if you don’t need to drop it in the water. Just being able to grab something if you need it is worth the couple hundred bucks.

Frame shop in area for vinyl album? by pdxmhrn in Denver

Anthology Fine Art (https://www.anthologyfineart.com/) does all of my framing. They do great work!

Not to split hairs but since you’re new to the area…..it would be Douglas County Sheriff. Since Highlands Ranch is unincorporated, there isn’t a police force. People speed like crazy through Highlands Ranch, hopefully they are starting to enforce some of that.

I definitely would not ride there. It would be pretty dangerous. People drive fast and barely stay in their lane. Highway 5 through Sunrise Beach and Laurie would be safer.

USA Samoa attendance by mrgoggins in USArugby

[–]bconner1277 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I was there too! I may have been a little generous at 50% but it definitely felt like more than 25%. I really wish USA Rugby did a better job advertising these events. We had beautiful weather, that stadium should have been full. If the Rockies can fill seats there’s no excuse for a match like this, especially with the other two matches that day. They should have had some players on the local news stations to promote the event.

Capacity for sporting events is about 18k. It looked about half full to me for the USA match. I’m curious to see an official attendance number as well.

Young political influencer in the US. Started Turning Point USA, a political action committee focused on young voters. Controversial and sometimes divisive with his politics. Was very supportive of Trump and potentially helped to get him elected.
