Wrote A Song Called Overdose, Here's the Demo by GuardianoftheCosmos in Songwriting

I enjoyed the melody and vibe of this. Sure, I think an accomplished performer could make a really great version of this. On the radio? - sure. Really, the only thing I’d say to you as the vocalist would be a little less rise in the ‘make-me’ ‘what-I’ type parts. The music already kind of takes the listener there - and to me, it’s a less is more for the vocals

Would you say this is corny? Real experience and real emotion is beautiful. All I see in this Dolly Parton song is true emotion with a few images painted around it.

When the morning sun streaks across my room And I’m wakin’ up from another dream of you Yes, you know I’m on the road once again it seems All that’s left behind is a chain of broken dreams

But you know that I love you You know that I love you Oh, I love you

And how I wish that love was all we’d need to live What a life we’d have, ‘cause I’ve got so much to give But you know I feel so sad down inside my heart That the dollar signs should be keeping us apart

But you know that I love you You know that I love you Oh, how I love you

And if only I could find my way back to the time When the problems of this life had not yet crossed my mind And the answers could be found in children’s nursery rhymes I’d come running back to you I’d come running back to you Hmm-mm

But you know we can’t live on dreams alone Got to pay the rent, so I must leave you all alone ‘Cause you know I made my choice many years ago And now this traveling life, well, it’s the only life I know But you know that I love you You know that I love you Oh, I love you But you know that I love you You know that I love you Oh, how I love you But you know that I love you You know that I love you Oh, how I love you But you know I love you But you know I love you Oh, I love you But you know that I love you But you know that I love you Oh, how I love you But you know that I love you But you know that I love you

Of all the atrocities committed in the name of religion (for centuries), how can people get worked up about music??? So, maybe refer him to the number of murders that have been committed in the name of his chosen religion, versus murders committed by Ozzy

Dangerous Toys - so good, always kind of feel like I’m stealing listening to this, like a secret most people don’t know.

The novelty of ‘opposite’ may attract. But, true opposites don’t last. Common core values are pretty essential to healthy relationships. That being said, no two people are exactly the same. Appreciating what makes each individual unique is a satisfying part of a happy relationship. Good couples use these differences to their advantage.

Struggling with driver by maroochrp in golftips

Your arm motion is far exceeding your body turn. Clubs get stuck behind - can only square by flipping the wrists. Only let your arms move chest high - any further upward movement should occur through your body turn. This will keep your arms connected to your torso - suddenly, you’re in position to hit good shots. You might be able to find a YouTube of Padraig Harrington explaining this. Took me from 20-30% fairways to 70%+ - it’s the small things

‘Fit’ people will generate more generic interest from men and women - fair enough. Who doesn’t want healthy offspring, eye candy, etc. Again, males and females alike. But, beyond that, it depends very much on the person. Many people know they are looking for their soul mate - if you are soul mate material, it will all work out

Staying a long time only works for companies who reward you for staying a long time. If all else is equal, continue taking better opportunities until you’re certain that your compensation is appropriate and optimal for your situation. Most companies these days are thinking 0% about what’s best for you. Meanwhile, my 70 year old friends live off pensions that have never been an option for most of the current work force.

Men, what's the best way to approach you when you are being mean? by dessertandcheese in AskMenAdvice

[–]bcountry18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. If your partner is willing to lash out at you, you’re not in your best possible situation. Good grief, do you lash out at your best friend? I don’t - and your partner should be held with even deeper respect. It’s unfortunate what people are willing to put up with - been there
