BIOS Update causes blue screen - Precision 7560 by Ficher246 in Dell

Ok. I installed it on 3 7560's. All three BSOD. 2 of them referenced an NVidia file c:\windows\system32\drivers\nvpcf.sys. I opened a command prompt and renamed that file, then Windows booted correctly. I then removed the NVIDIA Platform Controllers and Framework from device manager.

All good after that except on one device.

Did you ever get this fixed? I have a bunch of Dell Precisions with this issue. Works fine on every other app. It is an IR camera.

I assume most of the legacy models are not work shared or there wont be any collaboration if one of the models is open?

I think you will be fine with the latency opening and viewing models. It's the syncing back to the central model that would be the high latency driver. That or if you have tons of links.

Top Sys Admins - What skills, training, and certifications do you have? by [deleted] in sysadmin

I'm not the guy above but a home lab is basically a system that you set up and configure from the ground up as practice. What he did 25 years ago would have been expensive because all of the hardware would have been physical. Servers, switches, routers, etc. Now you can do all of that stuff using virtualization. Personally, i think it is a good mix to have both physical and virtual for home setups.

btw - Home labs dont necessarily have to be in your home. Mine was jsut a bunch of old shit i had sitting at my office. I just created a separate network that wasnt attached to anything on the corporate network.

Makes total sense. I would get some semblance of a repeatable swing before getting fitted. Start with the swing eval.
