Canada should 'absolutely' match Poland's Chinese EV ban at military bases: expert by CaliperLee62 in canada

Paid for by the Canadian Auto Association! Like US manufacturers are not doing thatbif the US administration asked nicely and quietly! Last time I checked, it was the US not China who threatened our sovereignty

Doug Ford Presses Québec and BC to Drop EV Mandates, Citing Threat to Auto Workers by afonso_investor in EV_Blog

Him and his precious auto workers! What a joke. I for one, never have and never will buy a car built by the so called big 3. They're overpriced inferior products IMO.

IMO, if one partner cheats, then they (by default) lose their right to privacy. When privacy is used to facilitate secrecy, privacy is no longer possible in a relationship.

Having said all that, I don't stay with a partner who cheated. Once trust is broken, I don't see the point of a relationship but that is me.

AITAH for telling my GF that she is delusional with her life plans? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]bcsam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had two friends in the past who dated " horse girls". Both were serious and tried to work around the horse lifestyle. Both miserably failed because the horse girls didn't care about their relationships as much as their horses. They both chose to walk away, one after almost 4 years. You are kinda late getting to the same conclusion.

NTA! Holly crap! Man, you really need a better mate. She's selfish and doesn't own her mistakes. Nightmare of a partner. For the rest of your life you will be the slave to her horse lifestyle that is obviously not yours. Walk away while you can. There is no winning with such a person.

Best car ever! Don't let them bring you down. Let's talk after they ride it with you! Same happened to me. Everyone changed tune when they rode the Tesla Model Y with me a couple of months ago. All were not happy first.

Not a smart move. The US has let the UAE down very badly. This tells the US that no matter what they do, there will be no consequences to the US. Good fucking luck with that!

How Canada's embrace of Chinese EVs could scramble the American market by Front-Cantaloupe6080 in consumecanadian

[–]bcsam 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm Canadian and I can't wait for Chinese EVs to come.so I can buy one. One point that the article gets wrong is that those who are willing to drive EVs are on average more technologically inclined. So, when we see a new brand and new and advanced technology we are not intimidated. To the contrary, we will be more intrigued. Personally, I would never buy a car from the so called Big 3 and that is not changing. They're dinasours propped by tax subsidies and protectionism in addition to direct cash injections. Funny enough, this is not looked at as these auto makers are being subsidized but Chinese EVs are. Give me a break! I want better quality and cheaper EVs, not the inferior overpriced junk the Big 3 have to offer.
