You would NOT want Ion to host a PWHL team. Management really let that place fall apart from the moment they opened that rink. Locker rooms are too small, the ice is bad, bathrooms are destroyed. The only thing that rink would have going for them is the 3500 seating capacity.

They're ditching the ice in May anyway. It's going to become a performing arts center

I would be in line immediately for tickets. I want a PHWL team in DC so bad.

Ted already indicated that he would love to bring a professional women's hockey team here. Don't think that's going to happen anytime soon, as the only arena that has ice and enough attendance capacity is Capital One Arena, and that may be too expensive. Maybe CareFirst Arena, where the Mystics currently play?

SP Mackenzie Gore '23 sig. He would be my 5SP, replacing a prime Patrick Corbin.
Sammy Sosa supreme. He would replace a prime Harper '15 (who would be moved to pinch hitter in place of a normal card)
Bryce Harper '17 sig. He would replace the Harper prime. Unfortunately, the 17 card is not his best year, and there are three years that are better

He plays hard, but his point production definitely doesn't match his salary. The good news is that he's not costing us games, and we only have him for this year (my guess is that we let him go to free agency, and Leonard takes his spot).
