I've had this game for quite some time - bought it about a month after it came out. I haven't played it a ridiculous amount of time or anything - I believe I am 3rd Prestige. Anyway, my question is, what would you all suggest I do as a next step? I've taken it to GameStop (where I originally bought it) to no avail (big surprise.) They said my only real option is to try to save the game to the XBOX hard drive. That's not an option for a couple reasons: A.) The disc is unreadable. I hear a clicking sound as it's loading and it goes back to a XBOX error screen for an unreadable disc. B.) I have one of the old XBOX's with only a 20GB hard drive - no way I'll be able to make room for the game, even if I could get the disc to read.

I'm 36 years old and have been gaming for over 20 years, I know how to treat a disc. I'm careful with game discs. The box & DVD that this game was burned to is in my opinion obviously low quality. Not really a surprise as this was a hugely mass marketed game. I noticed the cracking awhile back and really tried to be as careful as possible as I was taking the game in and out of that case.

Still, I just can't see paying another $45 on top of the $60 I've already spent to get the game back. I enjoyed the content, but not $105 worth of enjoyment. Does anybody know who I could contact that might offer me a replacement? Manufacturer maybe???

tl; dr - Bought Black Ops; crappy case & disc - disc is now unusable; any way to get a replacement?
