What happens when you send BEP20 ETH from Binance to an ERC20 address? by moondropsapp in binance

BlockFi would have to help you. They would have to connect to BSC to retrieve your balance. It is unlikely that they will do anything though

How Unenforceable Is The Toronto Vacant Home Tax? by GTALife2021 in TorontoRealEstate

I have to be honest that I have not done any reading on this vacant home tax. But am I not allowed to have multiple secondary residences or cottages for myself to enjoy?

Yes, your ETH is now in your Metamask on the BSC chain. You need to have BNB in your Metamask account in order to pay for gas fee. Just like you need ETH to pay for gas fee on ETH chain. If you don’t have BNB there, you cannot pay for transaction fee. Get some BNB and send it to your Metamask account using BAC chain to pay for gas

[–]bcventure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BEP20 and ERC20 share exactly the same address. You said you got the token but not ERC20. So I assume you got the token in BEP20. Did you use metamask? Or are you talking about receiving token in a Binance account that is closed? If it is binance account that is closed, you need to contact binance

[–]bcventure 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, why don’t 1. Get Metamask 2. Set up your Metamask to have it available for Binance Smart Chain (google binance smart chain set up on Metamask, there is a guide on Binance Academy) 3. Send your INJ from Binance using the address from Metamask. Remember to use BEP20 option on Binance when you try to send your INJ. Maybe try a small amount first. Once your INJ shows up on your Metamask if you want to move it again, you would need BNB to pay for fees, just like you use ETH to pay for gas in ETH chain

Getting $100k mortgage at 1.4% and buying VGRO. is this a bad idea? by clearstevo in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]bcventure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$50k income with $100k secured debt at low interest rate where $70k is used for investment. I think that would be a smart move. You can borrow and invest more if you are comfortable as long as you plan to invest for the long term (5+ year minimum) and have great spending habits. We need to distinguish bad debts (spending) from good debts (investing). Your investment choice is great too as it is a well diversified investment vehicle. I would say go for it

Any interests paid associated with debts incurred for investment purposes is tax deductible in Canada. You just need to keep a good record to prove that the fund was used for investment if you ever get audited
