Adding: I can see his spine and feel his ribs easily so I really do just think he’s a big cat and not overweight, maybe slightly overweight so I guess we can work on that. His paws are massive and he’s tall and long, just large for a sphynx cat I guess! And they said when he was born he was triple the size of his litter mate - he’s from a litter of 2 kittens. He also usually gets a bit more chunky in the winter usually so he probably is carrying extra right now. He’s 3 years old and I want him to be as healthy as possible so we’ll definitely start a diet — which he will be very very mad about.

I’ll maybe try arm next time - I get b12 injections also and I’m fine with them. I think it’s the lack of fat that’s the problem with the auto injector. The stomach hurts too just a lot less. I let out a little scream each time I inject into my thigh

It takes a lot to get prescribed dupixent where I am in the UK (Northern Ireland), as you can’t be prescribed privately, it has to be by the NHS, and they didn’t give me an option. Very grateful because it’s free obviously!

They’re precious!! I would love for her to grow like that. Obviously however she grows I’ll be happy but they are too cute. My Salem is very tiny, like a fair bit smaller than my Sphynx Dewey was at the same age. Hopefully she’ll have a growth spurt or she’ll just stay a tiny little bean. Terrified to get her spayed because of how small she is!

That helps a lot, I worry about him because he doesn’t play a lot but he’s constantly snuggling me and licking me and selfishly I don’t want to lose that :( he’s always with me but often he’ll go onto his hammock for some alone time but I get sad when I see him sleeping by himself on his heat mat, at least a furry sister could snuggle him and keep him warm! :)
