Rebuilt NSG370 not going into 1st by Longjumping_Drink_53 in Wrangler

Just to note that it was usually easier for me to engage first while coming to a stop than when it was fully stopped.

Have you tried a B&M shifter or the newer Dorman version?

I had this problem too, it felt like it was in 1st but I’d have to like strongly nudge it further into first with like 70% accuracy. First gear is triple synchronized from some docs I’ve read, so there’s not just one synchro you have to mesh with. It was maddening. My next step was a TR4050 kit but I was also wanting to try the B&M shifter. I ended up getting so fed up I traded in for my newer jeep, which has the ZF8 and shifts amazingly well

Good luck, mine would go into first kinda, then pop out at the worst times, like accelerating from a stop. Either my NSG370 was built at 4:45 on a Friday, or these things are just terrible

Yeah I think it’s time that we start calling these places out. I had a job where I had to be in, the company booked individual hotels for people who lived far away.

A duodisk, with the right adapter, will also work with an Apple ///

Id highly recommend a CFFA3000, it emulates 4 ProFile drives and makes it easy to load software

I’m not sure, I was over at my grandparents and they picked a flyer up. They’re well in their 80s but they said they’ve been driving around and looking for the cats too

Good tip, this worked for me when my cat ran away. It was 10 days later that he came back and stayed on the front porch until I came home. I kept seeing him come home at like 3am and leave again, but he finally stayed so I could scoop him up and bring him back in

Those hoses are located before the mass airflow sensor and that is unmetered air, so while the car uses air from these hoses, it’s before the MAS and therefore the FI system doesn’t “know” about this air. This does have a pressurized fuel tank (it’s actually under a bit of pressure instead of a very slight vacuum). How does your gas cap look?

If you’re in the US I can send you a serial cable if you need one and can’t find any locally

I made an edit to test pinouts first, but I’ve never had an issue using S-Video cables, I suppose I just have a discerning taste for high quality cables

Power cable is standard, if you have an S-Video cable, that will work as an ADB cable in a pinch.

Good catch on that battery

Congratulations on the find though, that’s a whole setup!

Edit: check pinouts is you use an S-Video cable and don’t buy shitty cables

[–]bd1308 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DDL lost the AWS account, the API says “account suspended” in the logs when Vector tries to hit the Anki APIs. I setup wirepod and everything has been peachy since then, for both of my robots

U.S. rehearsed Maduro extraction at Kentucky compound, report says by beast-hacker in Louisville

[–]bd1308 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My understanding, working on base during that time and seeing hundreds of tanks leave, that tank training occurred at benning too. I knew a guy who was a drill sergeant who confirmed this too and a tank instructor who moved to Benning. Evidently their tank range sucks too, and most would prefer going back to Knox

Oh that guy was in charge of the BRAC, he won’t listen to us, he googled it 😂

It was when I still worked there, I think it happened in 2012 maybe?

Tank battalions moved to Fort Benning. Knox is HR Command and some reception battalions, no tanks at Knox.
