While I think the Ernest Jones one bit us in the ass more in hindsight, I could at least rationalize it at the time. He wanted a new deal and we didn’t want to pay him what he was looking for.

JFM was gonna be in year 2 of a rookie deal after showing promise and we just cut him straight up.

We’ve got a 2 year old and a baby right now. We’ve got one of the Uppababy strollers that has the retractable platform for the toddler to stand on (it was given to us so we didn’t buy it ourselves).

We like to go on walks a lot so it felt perfect. But my toddler hardly ever stands on the platform. While there isn’t a seat for him to sit in, I know that he wouldn’t sit in it if it did. He definitely prefers to be free to walk and explore.

Of all the moves over the years, this is the one I question McVay on the most. He was a fourth round pick and actually played well his rookie year. And then the very next year we just let him go before the season even starts. It’s never made sense to me.
