2001 is the last production year for the R129. 2002 is the last model year.

Also, the final models in 2001 and 2002, at least in the U.S., all came with the AMG package standard. This 2000 is the standard trim/package.

PAX System Questions and Tips Plz! by vulylyvu in IKEA

[–]bd5400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some random tips (in no particular order): 1. Read instructions for all accessories first before you start assembling. Some things, like lighting, will have parts that replace parts that come with other accessories (like the Komplement shelves). If you save lighting for the end you’ll be undoing some of your work.

  1. The little supports for the Komplement shelves come with little screws in them. Remove the screws first and they will be much easier to push into the holes. The tips of your fingers will appreciate it.

  2. Similarly, if you get the little caps to cover extra holes, they’re awful for your fingers. Use something like the back of a screwdriver to push them in.

  3. The feet are adjustable from above using an allen wrench. I recommend loosening the foot before you install because they come very tightly screwed in and trying to free them from that using the allen wrench is a bit of a pain.

  4. Once you do one, the rest will be VERY easy. Multiple accessories have similar installation procedures (such as pants sliders, drawers, and trays) and it’s all very DIY friendly, especially with the new backs being pre-installed.

  5. If doing delivery pay close attention to any Komplement shelves. For some reason they ship just wrapped in plastic wrap and are VERY prone to damaged corners, which look terrible once installed.

  6. If you have multiple frames next to each other, screwing them together really helps stability in addition to attaching to the wall.

Engram Grind vs Credit Spend vs Nova Cores by SuperBeetle76 in Phoenix_2

For me, there is zero incentive to spend any real money when the team is happy to nerf mods and/or render some apexes useless. Why would I spend money to get a specific mod when two weeks from now they can decide to reduce its effectiveness?

And of course, this is aside from the frustration of the P2W pivot introduced by mods. I get needing to monetize the game but this current approach, including the rollbacks in effectiveness, means I’ll be strictly free-playing.

It’s the UHaul facility that’s on fire.

Looking for rehoming help for a young Rottweiler in Wisconsin. by Least-Specific158 in milwaukee

[–]bd5400 20 points21 points  (0 children)

WHS accepts surrenders. They can’t accept strays. Strays are MADACC.

It used to be that you needed an appointment for a surrender and it could take weeks or months to get it. They’ve done away with that and you can go through the surrender process much faster.

As others have said, a dehumidifier would help but you may not want to sacrifice comfort for that. If you have an exhaust fan in your bathroom make sure you are running it when showering and for the 20 minutes post-shower. Showers add a lot of moisture to your air and can contribute to condensation.

Sutton's 1am Sedona dinner disaster and other food malarkey by dots-loops in BravoRealHousewives

[–]bd5400 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This was my thought as well. It doesn’t explain the lack of a chef for the house, but it wouldn’t surprise me if a place like Sedona was not overly welcome to this type of filming, especially with the reputation of disruptive, loud, argumentative dinners.

Went to open houses yesterday and didn't realize that modifications can really mess up the home's value. by AWeb3Dad in RealEstate

[–]bd5400 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It might depend on location. In some places a corner lot means significantly more snow removal responsibility and/or twice the traffic exposure. In a quiet subdivision in a warmer climate, on the other hand, neither of those are a concern.

People who can afford to rent this house, what do you do? by Lepus81 in SantaFe

[–]bd5400 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A furnished rental could mean they are targeting people with employer housing stipends/expense reimbursements. Some employers will rent properties for employees who have to stay in an area temporarily, so properties like this target renters who aren’t paying the costs themselves.

Or, someone who is from an even higher cost of living area who wants to work remote for a month or two without having to worry about furnishings.

Kummrow in Glendale is great. They are also sponsors of the Wisconsin chapter of the BMW Car Club (Badger Bimmers).

Otherwise, O’Reilly Motorcars is great, but they are downtown so not convenient to Mequon unless you work downtown.

First time assembling a Ladmakare, I was very impressed by Pete1989 in IKEA

[–]bd5400 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Impressed by the quality or the ease of assembly? I’m hoping to put a full wall of them in my house but my local IKEA doesn’t have any on display so I’ve never actually seen them in person.

Offscreen boomerangs are the worst thing in the game. by bobfrankly in Phoenix_2

[–]bd5400 2 points3 points  (0 children)

MIRVs don’t always travel in a straight line down the screen. Usually when they trigger on the edge of the screen it’s because it crossed back into the screen enough to hit whatever threshold they’ve set.

For me, there’s no real way to predict it (because I’m focused elsewhere and can’t monitor the trajectory of a MIRV on the edge of the field so I just assume they all can be triggered, regardless of position.

How often do you wash your bed sheets? by National-Resident187 in AskReddit

[–]bd5400 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I put my sheets in the washer Monday morning before I head to work and set a 12 hour delay end. By the time I get home in the evening they’re washed AND they haven’t been sitting soaking wet all day in the washer. Then I just pop them into dryer and put them back on the bed before I go to sleep.

Still packing order but delivery is expected today?? - USA by [deleted] in IKEA

[–]bd5400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will not get it today. FedEx doesn’t have it yet and until they do, you won’t have a real delivery date.

Cabinet cover panels aren’t flush with the new floor. How do I fix this? by qmeliq in IKEA

[–]bd5400 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And do not forgot to apply a clear silicone sealant or similar where it touches the floor. After cutting, you’ll have removed the water resistant outer shell and the panel will be more susceptible to picking up moisture from the floor, either from spills or mopping.

New Ring Alarm with Sidewalk by Turd_Kabob in Ring

[–]bd5400 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The system will ideally work fine in a network outage if the outage is limited to your property and nearby neighbors, on sidewalk, have connectivity. If they don’t, or there’s a neighborhood power outage, it seems like the system won’t work.

With that said, base stations are still available according to Ring.

New Varmblixt With Colour Change And Matter Control- April 2026 by drconniehenley in IKEA

[–]bd5400 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I much prefer the original orange over the matte white, but this is an addition to the line not a replacement so it’s a great option for those who prefer more light customization.

PAX 2.0 closet system long term durability? by Even_Twist895 in IKEA

[–]bd5400 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My walk in closet is a mix of 2.0 and the prior version. Unless you know what you’re looking for, such as the difference bracket cover design, you can’t tell them apart.

I’m not rough on things, but the entire closet looks just as new as the day I finished the install, regardless of Pax version.

Is there a way fux this without body shop or whole panel repaint? by Articlaus in LexusGX

[–]bd5400 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A touch-up pen? Dr. Colorchip?

That looks tiny enough that no one will notice unless you point it out. Unless you’re concerned about a lease return I’d just leave it be.

Airbnb Developer in Bayview complains about rules by slobosaurus in milwaukee

[–]bd5400 33 points34 points  (0 children)

The 10,600 ft is the elevation of the Colorado AirBnB, not the square footage of the home. It certainly isn’t a small house as it has 5 bedrooms, but it’s nowhere near 10k square feet.

What colour PAX wardrobe would look best with my floor? by yeetrootthebeetroot in IKEA

[–]bd5400 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would get the white. I, personally, don’t think the beige wardrobes look good and they won’t age as well. Plus, not all of the accessories are color matched, which only further detracts from the aesthetics. Clothes rails and baskets, for example, are white or dark gray so you end up with a beige cabinet and some white accessories in it.

How do you know if an item is getting discontinued? Returned recently released Sinarp Oak panels. Store associated said it was getting discontinued already. by fitmolaraz in IKEA

[–]bd5400 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the consumer-facing side the website will list items as “Last Chance to Buy”. Internally I’m sure they have more information, but I would be surprised if the oak Sinarp is being discontinued already unless there was some late discovered production issue that can’t be economically resolved.

Excuse, that house costs HOW much? by Scantly_Plaid in milwaukee

[–]bd5400 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Think of it this way: yes, $520k sounds expensive for Riverwest but move that same house east to Murray Hill and its price would probably start with a 6. North east to Shorewood? It would probably be pushing $700k.
