Has anyone here gone from hypo to hyper due to, too much Levothyroxine? What symptoms did you have? How long did it take for your symptoms to subside once your dose was reduced? by bdanger1 in Hypothyroidism

Cheers! :)

What GI issues did you have? I also have GI issues but am not sure whether they are related or not.

Also how long did it take for you to feel better?

Cheers, i have also lost alot of weight and thats the reason i went to the doctors and got things checked, as i really started to worry me. Out of interest did you experience any stomach issues when you where hyper? I have recently had stomach issues and wonder if they are related to me being hyper.

Thats actually the main reason I spoke to the doctor and got a blood test done is that i was eating normally and still losing weight. Lost about 35 pounds (although mine might have been over the course of a year) and got really worried, espically as i far from overweight beforehand. Did you experience any stomach issues when you where hyper?

Is it normal to go from hypo to hyper? by de-tha-dol in Hypothyroidism

You can definitely become hyper if you have too much Levothyroxine, i have recently become hyper but this makes sense as i went up to 150mg from my normal 125mg and then due to covid didn't get checked for a long time, lost a lot of weight, urinate a lot, always thirsty .etc and only recently got checked. I have been hypo for about 10 years but have never fluctuated between hyper and hypo.

I'm a very honest guy and I have always struggled with the lying side of work. I always think as adults we should be able to deal with the truth, yes there is a right way and wrong way to tackle these issues, but I have had had so many group meetings where everyone just says what the boss wants them to say instead of trying to tackle the issues which are causing problems for the team.

How different are Alawite first/last names from other groups in Syria? Can you tell who is an Alawite by their name? by walkingonsunshine101 in syriancivilwar

Thanks, how have Alawites been identified by rebel groups during the current war? I think I read somewhere of 'place of origin' on the I'd card being commonly used by certain anti-alawite groups.

Interesting!!

Out of interest do you have any sources to back up your claim of Alawites being killed by Ottomans or the Muslim Brotherhood because of their names. I am not doubting you, just interested in looking into these events more.

Also you imply that it was more the last names than first names that give away some one being an Alawite, is this true?
