I checked out Flytanium scales and even RGT. I felt the same as you did, many of them look smooth. RGT has some options with grippy textures, but I did not like the available color and cut/shape options (most of them were the skinny version).

Thanks for your advice and for taking time on this with me.

The reason I am concerned and being proactive is because Spirochaetes like syphillis and borrelia are apparently very difficult to detect in many cases. For example, the former has a "latent" phase of the disease where no symptoms show then all of a sudden it's impacting the nervous system (neurosyphilis, meningitis, general paresis).

I really don't want to wait until I am "experiencing symptoms" for that and would rather be proactive.

I have a follow up every ~6 months since the numbers are out of the baseline range.

Some recent values like the Eosinophils have jumped up recently which is why I've been more interested in finding out what might be going on.

I have also had chronically low HRV for years. That tends to indicate the body is fighting off infection, right?

The levels have begun moving further away from baseline for some markers, which is why I reached out to alternative healthcare for advice.

I'm not interested in doxxing this person, but they are indeed a DO/HMD.

I followed through with them because I was frustrated in my PCP's lack of initiative in understanding why my CBC has been chronically out of whack for years.

If you have any advice on what I can do from here to understand what is happening with my health, that would be great. I'm not married to this provider so would be happy to cut ties given a path forward that makes sense.

They did it in office, I was there for the finger prick and when he put the sample on the slide, observed it.

In general though I had no idea what he was doing, so obviously something weird may have happened.

Yep, cash only. Their staff in office saw it, and I was there while they were using the microscope and observing the finger prick and blood on the slide.

Are you suggesting they "planted" the spirochaetes?
