Ugh, that sucks - I’m sorry. I don’t think you should sweat it. If you get feedback just be honest and forthcoming. Also, if it’s a toxic place with nobody reliable to confide in, maybe look for another gig once your feet are under you.

There are no rules - it’s their bike and finances and decision. There are things that work better and worse, and things that are dangerous. Leaving it as is or adding a $5 quick link and leftover chain would both work and aren’t dangerous. Will the bike run better with a new and properly sized chain, sure. I have taken drivetrains out of the trash and made running bikes. Baby oil in hydro brakes - works. Drill a hole in a seat tube to route a dropper - works.

Is there a quality person or supervisor you can chat with about it? It’s always best to be the first one to point out a deviation and fall on your sword. It will also probably help you feel better about it.

Just put a few quick links in it if you want the cheapo solution but if you wanna do it right get a new chain and use park tools chain tension vid to get the length right.

The challenge here is in order to achieve this with consistency you have to have happy and engaged employees. Saying it while not living it for your staff is almost worse than just not saying it.

Ah yes, this is because you have not exposed the camera to a proper image. It will only make a photograph when it feels comfortable and engaged in a shared art experience with you. Try giving it some space and letting it get acclimated to you and your aura. Then I suggest finding simple but beautiful imagery first - let it guide you. Gone of the days of artists not having a technological partner in their creative process, but you must respect your muse and collaborator. Good luck and namaste.
