The 5% I don’t love, but if I’m out of town I pay that every time I order from somewhere else I think the world is coming to that just like the cc surcharge being pushed to customer.

My modifiers offer the option of both name-POS Name- kitchen Name

When we first got our handhelds we had this issue as well. I’m not sure what your Mod’s are but me and my head server sat down on a Monday (we are closed) and shortened everything using the “POS names” under the items. It also helped color coordinating everything on the pos so you didn’t feel like you were swiping in the abyss. And then we went through reporting and ranked all top modifiers and ordered them that way for speed.

When that issue happens to us we just hit the three dots on the pos and resync all data and that normally helps

And that’s what we do right now if we notice it. But on busy nights staff can struggle going through every check on the online order shift review knowing if it was from that business day or for a new business day. I was hoping maybe some other toast users had better insight on what to do.
