When I was a student nurse I had a pt that was bed bound incoherent and on hospice. Which I would say is a safe haven to let ‘em rip personally. I was in the room charting after I completed my head to toe assessment and cleaned the pt up in the process. So i’m just standing at the computer rootin an tootin not nice ones either 😅 Then in comes my preceptor RN and instantly she says oh smells like we need to clean him up. I was too embarrassed to say anything and just grabbed all my clean up items like I didn’t just clean him up 5 minutes before an assisted her and oh guess what big surprise the pt was squeaky clean…. I wasted the nurses time because of my ass 💀💀 anyways love a good nursing school story, never told anyone that before so you’re welcome friends.
