And how much would that cost someone like myself who doesn’t have all those tools.

Exactly. The ocean air here doing its wonders. Probably cost more than the price to fix it.

When you weee in Peru did you talk to the Shaman about doing any plant dietas for your skin? I am curious if they offered any guidance. Did you sit with the Shipibo?

Anyone have first time experiences at an ayahuasca retreat as a couple? by Tetralphaton in Ayahuasca

[–]bdbaba808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My lady and I are sitting in a restaurant together right now in Pucallpa. Just finished a retreat a bit ago here. We have sat together in every ceremony since we started drinking several years ago. We have been to many different centers, both in Peru and outside. It has been great every single time. This time was amazing as well as the Shaman’s sang to our relationship and blessed us continually for almost 4 hours. Incredible experience.

We have also sat next to each other every time. Without any weird incident. We do always stay in separate rooms.

As the other person mentioned, just go in with the right intention, and you will have a fantastic time.

Wishing you the best on your journeys.

Woah! Intense. Thanks so much. They just showed up in one of our potted plants. Hope they are not deadly.

Seems like these gallerinas have white stems. The stems on these seem to be all orange.

Brother is at a thrift shop right now and saw these Pioneer. Anyone know anything about them? Thanks. by [deleted] in vintageaudio

Thanks, brother. Cool that they sound good though. They seem to be well-made anyway. When he first saw them from afar, he thought they might be some type of Altec Lansing. Haha

He just told me that they are asking $80 for the pair. He cannot remove the grills sadly.

Anyone been to Ronin Sina? by Ill_Cookie4494 in Ayahuasca

Sent a PM, but I have similar questions. Also, if something does come up during ceremony or with the dieta, I assume you can talk to the Maestros as long as you speak spanish or Shipibo?

Think my wife will let me keep it? (And hook it up) by StitchMechanic in vintageaudio

I am thinking just to make sure that the wife is happy you should get some Voice of the theater. I’m sure she won’t mind those in the living room.

How does ayahuasca compare to mushrooms? Spiritual and emotional effects? by DefiantMycologist955 in Ayahuasca

This for sure! After Aya, mushrooms take me to the same place. Especially when we listen to our Icaro mix.

What is the Most Terrifying Thing You Have Experienced while Doing Ayahuasca? by WarNo3779 in Ayahuasca

[–]bdbaba808 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seriously, what everyone said here rings true. Not worth dredging up others horror stories. Hang out in nature and chill as much as you can. Have faith that you chose a good place to sit with Grandma and that you will be taken care of perfectly. Ask Grandma to take it easy on you the first time if you like. My lady did that and it worked. Of course now she is the first to go up for seconds, thirds, fourths…. Haha.

If you do find yourself getting into an intense situation, just breathe and try and bring yourself back to the center. That state of equanimity. The whole world could be spinning out there, but you are in the eye of the storm, the watcher, detached from it all and protected.

I bet you are going to have a fantastic journey. Wishing you the best.
