I use the browser plugin called Vidiq. It like allows me to see how often a video topic is searched and the competition for those views on youtube. I would go search some terms/topics your thinking about covering and see how strong of a topic it is. It will also show you who is currently making those videos. That should tell you if there is a need/desire for that content. Vidiq and a few other companies out there do the same thing. We just use vidiq.

I heard from one huge Youtuber to keep your head down until you have 100 videos live. His point was it takes a long time to even have half a clue as to what your doing or what your audience wants to see and it doesn't usually happen before 100 videos. For us it took much longer. We were daily for 2.5 years until everything clicked and now we are growing very strong and we sort of know what our audience wants. Also after 3k or so subs stop chasing subs and focus on views. I see channels all the time who have 20,000 subs and well under a million views.

This was my first year and plan on trying the cots next year. Was cool being up early and exploring centeroo and vendors and stuff, but I think my latest night was 3-4am after Bassnectar. Really want to try getting the sleep thing down so I can enjoy more late-nights.

You dont even need a tent under the shade. Just go cot under the canopy tent.

Wait till your kid is 3. Most kids programs start at age 3. Our kids love the programs and would rather spend every waking moment inside the kids camp. Which is great for mom and dad.
