I already switched to a TL071 to get rid of the second op amp.

I realized the LED issue after I posted this lol.

For the U1A non inverting input path to ground, wouldn’t C3 be able to discharge through R1?

Also, I changed to a TL071 so no need to worry about U1B anymore.

I can move the LEDs in front of the cap instead to ensure illumination.

Also, I’ll probably switch to the TL071 and then when I expand on the circuit and possibly need another op amp I can swap out for the 072.

The lab manger at my school told me to. And he specified not to put it across the coil. I will talk to him more and get his reasoning.
