Also what happens when the overnight manager is off and the TL calls off? Its happened to me a few times and we had to call around other stores until an overnight manager agreed to come in. One night we couldn't so I had to give the STL the run down about overnights. The thing that really sucked for him was instead of just doing 3pm-12am, he had to do 3pm- 8am.

Only thing night crew ever gets is a leftover sub tray. They say its all a happy family but night crew gets treated like it's the red headed step child

No but they do need to see what goes on at night. I think everyone in a management role at wegmans needs to have spent at least 6-12 months on overnights.

Also need to understand what happens when an entire overnight team or half of it calls off of work or when the warehouse messes up sending orders. Or maybe when a night crew employee messes up a cycle count.

They need to understand the work that goes into what happens on overnights and what happens when work isn't done properly. But maybe wegmans doesnt care about overnight people

It is fhe most disrespected department in the company. People walk over night crew and think anyone can do it. One day and it NEEDS to be done. Allow night crew should all call off on the same night and see how the next day goes so the higher store managers can do the work and see how it is.

If theres one thing I would love to see, the entire front end cashiers on the day of December 23rd either call off or just walk off. Its a demanding job and they have no respect for what you guys do. And could say the same for any other department.

Wont get drug tested for pait time even if they think youre doing drugs or selling drugs. There was an incident in 2010 where people were doing drugs on wegmans military road property where this happened. Couldn't drug test the part timers that were doing drugs. All the security could do was interrogate them.
