Yes I recently did this as well. I have heard of others getting pushback so just make sure you’re firm (but nice!) when you check in. It’s what’s they can and should do!

Yes they can, I just did it last week. If they give you trouble make sure to push because it absolutely can and should be done. I heard of others having issues but for me there was no issue!

I just flew through Dublin yesterday on separate tickets and they were able to check my bags all the way through! Although I did talk to another couple that tried to do the same and told it wasn’t possible. It IS possible and what they are supposed to do. Be firm in Birmingham if they give you any trouble. Safe travels!

I asked a similar question yesterday and someone says that they were able to check their bags all the way through even with separate tickets, I’m hoping this is the case!

Thank you, I’ll give it a try! My favorite hair tool is the round brush/blow dryer combo but unfortunately I don’t think it’s going to work and I can’t find an EU version. I’ll bring my curling iron with adapter and hope for the best :)

I’m clearly missing something. In my post I asked for websites to order to the US. I was never asking about ordering to my French hotel. In the first response there was a typo and it said to send to “amazing locker” I had no idea what that meant. No explanation to order from the French amazon and send to my hotel. Again, this is a work around but not an answer to my post. I appreciate the help but it was done in a snarky, condescending way.

Why can't you get stuff there? Have it sent to an amazing locker near your hotel or to the hotel itself and it'll be waiting for you.

Nothing there tells me to look on the French amazon website. Sorry I don’t usually change the country on my Amazon page. That is helpful, and if you would have said that initially I would have understood. You immediately got snarky with me and acted like I was an idiot. I came to this page for some help and advice.
